I feel like you guys should get paid more. Do they really expect you to lay down your life for 14/hr?
I thought you were Chef at your own Italian restaurant in The Sopranos, it must suck to be at Wendy's now

Shanghai! The tax rate's on a tiered scale, before taxes my salary is 37,000rmb / month. My take home salary 30k / month (including my housing stipend). +Airfare and meals (if I want them...) I've visited HK too, nice city, but I'd really like to work in Taipei.
Not that user, but I wouldn't lay down my life for any amount of money.

I started at 11. It's a pretty small city. Other guys in bigger cities like Omaha that do have the occasional robbery get paid more. The most we get are homeless people who get a little too curious and assholes who make jokes about it. It's a good gig though. Weekends off. Get to carry a gun. Yell at the occasional homeless person. No real customers.

I fucking hate truckies.
All they do is try to out cunt eachother.
Doing 1km faster than the other in the over taking lane, pull out in front of you when you're doing 20km faster.
Think that they are tough because they drive a big car when the majority are just fat lazy cunts.
Should be castrated before operating a heavy vehicle.

Can you tell me more about trucking? I was seriously considering getting a CDL. is it really only 20 an hour? What's the average make in your experience. What's life on the road like etc
Shipping will get you
really fun if you want to actually experience the country and see things. the $20/hr thing really does change. i get payed 40 cents per mile and if im on a long highway i get much more than that. my favorite thing about driving is being on a highway at around 3:00 AM and the sky looks amazing
hey, faggot!!
Don't compare flipping burgers with being a chef.
Don't you miss having a dog and stuff though? I can't imagine you stay home much

i grew up with dogs, but after a few years in college i hadn't had any pets for a while so i didn't want to get a new one i have always been pretty independant like i said earlier, i don't really communitcate with other truckers
How long does it take to get your cdl? Did the company pay for your training? My dad does this and I've been thinking about doing it myself. It seems like it would appeal to me.
I also don't know how to drive a stick. I heard this is an advantage, since it's better to learn to drive a truck from scratch. Is this true?

US. Pay for CFI's here is ridiculously low. You would be lucky to break 20 an hour. Almost at ATP mins though, so hopefully I'll start making a bit more once I get to the airlines.

Yeah you need to get to one of the big ones, it is disgusting what your regional carriers pay over there. On easy street once you make it to United or UPS or a FedEx though.
I don't know how do you say it in english. Here in Spain is "CHAPERO". Sex job with other men.
gracias
it's male prostitute
I know. I've got an interview in a few weeks with a regional, and first year pay is something like 24k. It's so stupid that I spent 60k on my training, only to be making a bit more than a fry cook at a fast food chain. But hey, gotta pay your dues right? Also, the flying is fucking awesome, wouldn't dream of doing anything else.

Nothing wrong with being a mechanic. Why don't you get your own place and supervise as opposed to getting your hands dirty. I know working in a trade gets hard as you get older. Electrical fag here. Moved more into automation and programming. Started as a cable cunt. Still enjoying the field.
