I haven't heard anything Azealia put out since Broke With Expensive taste, did she fall off or nah?
That Heavenly EP is GOAT-tier as well
I really liked the Venetian Snares album some user recommended me in the last thread, but I'm looking to expand my taste.
Also worth mentioning, I've gotten into Christian Death since I made this but dont have much else I like enough to add to my bad 3x3
Whoring for recs
Shockingly, I had never listened to a full Utada album until tonight. Like, I've heard several of her tracks before, but never a full album. It was pretty good. Not a fave, but I love her voice.
I love The Sensual World. It's probably my least favorite 80s Kate Bush album, but how are you supposed to compete with Never For Ever, The Dreaming, and Hounds of Love? This Woman's Work is one of my favorite vocal performances ever though.
IN NEW YORK I MILLY RAWK
Really interesting mix of things here. I haven't listened to power metal in years, but you may like Angra- Temple of Shadows. Also, I don't think I've ever met anyone that likes Tom Waits but not Nick Cave, so check him out if you haven't yet.
+Mac Demarco
+rush, johnny cash
I haven't really listened to the rest of the albums listed here to really say if I like them or not. I've been feeling kind of down lately.
nice electric day by you

hi sorry for delay in answering, was out shopping
anyway i think it's not as good as bwet, but that's only the first time i listened to it so i can't say for sure
yeah it's really good but as good as hounds of love i think
i still need to try never for ever though
is fanome good, i've seen the cover a few times
are you ok pop
nice
whats the one in the top left corner?
Never For Ever is fantastic. It's the first album Kate started getting kind of strange on IMO. Fantome is good too. Utada has a lovely voice. It's not the kind of thing I'd normally listen to, but I'll probably give it a few more spins. The track featuring Shiina Ringo is really good too. Of course I'm a little biased towards liking anything with Ringo on it though.
Yes, more ween please
i don't know how i feel rn
had a pretty big argument with my parents yesterday, almost said i might be trans
anyway how about you, are you ok

shitting on the knife
i've been in the Good Music Zone for a lil while
i like a ton of this but the new IDLES bored me
+ swans, cocteau twins, c93, dij, the cure
+ nick cave
+ killing joke
this is the first ive listened to idles, i dont think its anything groundbreaking but its fun. i enjoy the vocals and lyrics particularly
what have you been doing to listen to so much Stars of the Lid? I can only listen to them while studying or sleeping
I don't understand why people even like them
Super bland, no stand out tracks and really don't experiment enough to find them at all interesting
Stars are for everything, but mostly for reading and feeling bad for yourself :)
I ended up listening to that album while driving across a state, which is ludicrously peaceful
I recently read a review for that album that let me understand it better (one song famously consists of Just 3 Notes) + a lot of the later cuts on that album just recently clicked for me (Raygun, Humectez, and Tippy's Demise are all golden)
i also do not get the knife. one of my friends just listened to silent shout and gave it 5/5 immediately and i can only respond with confusion
replying to dog face
joys smile is so weird but I like it
how is that ost I'm kinda wary because shes not exactly a powerhouse
oh huh, i may have to listen to SotL on my long drive next week then, i can imagine it being good for late night or early morning
i'm biased because Joy is my favorite RV member (cutest + favorite voice), but I think her OST songs are incredible. for upbeat try out Shiny Boy
youtube.com
and for ballad try this:
youtube.com
if i get into k-dramas it'll be her fault lel
also nice Longmont Potion Castle
hi
...
heck i'm all for people getting into osts no matter how, it's really hard to find people to talk to about them that arent 15 year old asian gIrls
im digging this ballad, nice strings but it's basically what I was worried about, her voice is so sweet and tender and weak its hard for me to vibe with, especially in this context where its pretty focused on her voice barefaced
but I get the appeal she sounds like an angel even if she doesn't have any wanky muscle
this has been my shit today and last night
youtu.be
oh also have you heard the new lpc
its pretty damn good even if I maybe prefer 13
...
yeah i love soft voices (part of why i like jpop/kpop so much) so Joy is my shit
this song is tight, damn. gonna bookmark this and check out related stuff. "but i'm still loving you" -- english lines in songs always get my lmao
also i actually have never listened through a full album of LPC lmao, i just love clicking on random youtube videos (Aqualamb kills me) but i never thought i'd be able to sit through a whole album. any rec for one to start with or just any?

hiii validate my musical taste
