I just hated the electronics because I know that they can do so much better (as they have before with electronics).
The sound design was really not to my taste, the vocals didn't fit, it seemed there was an absence of actual "songs", the entire thing just seemed muddled and awkward.

Yeah I saw them live (they're still excellent live) a couple years back and Wayne announced onstage that they were all "wicked stoned" so I have no idea how far it's gone now
I mean they've always been a "drug" band and that's part of what made them interesting, but I honestly think the Lips should call it quits on studio work soon
