i like this idea, but good luck trying to implement it
people can just listen to half a song and say "i like it, good ambient sounds" which i guess is better and at least you got a half listen but it's not much of substance (not that there is much substance here to begin with  )

Well, I'm not going to be everyone's moral guard in regards to feedback so implementing this is just a waste of time. 'Tis an idea only.

My latest, Here Comes Everybody - loosely inspired by Finnegans Wake; the album is cyclical like the book. I draw from Talk Talk, Tim Buckley, OPN, Tim Hecker, Miles Davis, Ligeti, Aphex, Julia Holter, King Crimson, Slowdive, Can, Eno, and many others - Would love feedback, cheers x
That new track isn't bad, is it really you - pretty catchy if generic... super weird that you go from Experimental Rock to Pop Trap but all power to you
What a wonderful day.

We're a bizarre, semi-Hawaiian themed, semi-comedy duo located in the UK and we released another album among friends recently. I though I might as well share our shit here.

I have no idea what genre we are, but excuse the amateurish nature. We tried to get it done in time for summer.

just a bit
leaving some feedback
The energy in your tracks on that split record is fucking fire. Always dig a bit of avant garde and that with the violent metal is always a great mix, screams with that delay is pretty insane. Quite enjoyed what I heard, it was an interesting ride.
Heard this on a previous thread, will say again if you didnt get this before, reminds me a lot of early Interpol stuff which is great. The guitar work is pretty sweet and the vocals are very fitting, really enjoyed listening to the single.
This was an interesting blend of triphop and shoegaze in places, never actually heard the mixture before and it was pretty sweet. Quite enjoyed Heartfreeze, thought the gated drums and that swirling synth was a cool effect. Reminds me of something off the newest Explosions in the Sky album.
Liked some of the tracks, they were pretty fun to listen to, quite dug the vocals actually, thought they carried the tracks quite well, quite quirky stuff. I thought the production was a bit flat in some places for me and not very clear but thats probably just me.

Really enjoyed this. From what I've heard, Floodlights and Indigo are easily my favorites. The vocals in Floodlights are especially haunting and alien sounding. Hopefully you'll go far.

you list off an interesting list of influence who expressed transgressibve ideas through music careers but it ends up sounding super commercial. like some band that would have been on captured tracks in 2010. but youre probably not handsome and white enough and 8 years too late for people to care about your work.
was quite enjoying it until i heard the vocals. you sound like an off brand version of someone from 2005 mall pop punk band.
not bad for what it is but not terribly interesting. not much differentiating you and other indie pop rock bands from the past 30 years
cool druggy psych. well done but also nothing that makes you stand out within the large ammount of psychedelic music that exists.
beep boop zoop is really interesting. never heard anything like that. actually listened to the whole thing. "indie" sounds more typical bedroom noise pop type of thing but well done.
>Commercial
I don't hear that at all but fair enough
I have no idea what you're going on about towards the end

I don't find this to be chill at all, very intense industrial music. Some ok textures, but didn't like it overall desu.
I dig the sounds just that drum sound I dislike a lot. Keep going with this sound I think you'll deff have something with higher prod quality.

RECS:
holy shit dude this is rad. reminds me of nine inch nails which im sure is the most obvious reference point but still sounds very unique, keep up the good work.
It's a vague term - I blended genres in what I believe to be a new and unique way, I was experimenting - therefore, experimental. Not everything has to sound like Imaginary Soundscapes to fit the bill
is your track For Keiji about Keiji Haino?
>I believe it's experimental therefore it is cause I say so
>Not pushing boundaries of music or providing alternative ways of composing, performance or aesthetic
yeah, fool yourself longer
no, about Donald Trump. jesus, are you that dumb?
you seem like a fun guy :(
I literally just said there's a unique merging of sound and genre - at least listen to the fucking music before getting on your high horse
>""""unique""""
yeah, okay
This is cool. I listened to now. The background vocals are nice. It's almost too much of a slow burner though

First release would love to know what you guys think.
Man the guitar textures in the first track are super visceral just need to work on making the drums pop a bit more. Love the artwork too.
Listened to Landline: Definitely something I could get lost in, reminds me a bit of connan mockasin. Have you considered adding vox? (sorry if you have vox in other songs)
Will be commenting on more when I get the chance to listen.

This is really cool man, loving the vintage recordings. Lipstick is my friggen jam, good work dude!
Great stuff, Amends is great! lovin the dark sludgy vibes. Your vocals are nice and haunting too as they echo through the distortion! Keep it up man!
fair enough of criticism I can see what you mean. you listen to any other tracks?
Yeah I feel you on that. I recorded the whole thing by myself and mic'd the kit up with only two sm57s so they are thin just due to limitation.
Yes, the 3th one is quite nice and well made. It reminds me a bit of King Krule or Of Ghost-Ever Change if It wouldn't have any dub-elements.
You should definitely stick to the lofi-style, but maybe you should choose another cover. It reminds me of like 80% I do see on Sup Forums.
I made this three covers today by using picture of WW1 polocks:
That's just my opinion. Do what thou wilt.

That sounds really legit, nice production. Can't help but think the reverb on vox could be a little drier to match guitars. Good on you.
