A Clockwork Orange 2bh
That's considered a British film right?
Nosedive: Directed by Joe Wright, Golden Globe-winner of Atonement, Pride & Prejudice and Hanna, this social satire follows Bryce Dallas Howard as an insecure office worker who “lives in a world in which everyone obsessively ranks and rates every tiny social interaction.” Believing she may finally have discovered a way to rank alongside her friend, an elite member of society played by Alice Eve. Brooke teases that it has “a creepy serenity to it and won’t be what people expect.” Sounds like an interesting premise for a filmmaker like Wright.

Amaranth after Chadcid discovers her peepeen
amaranth is easily the worst poster here. all she does is put a bunch of movies on her letterboxd and if anyone questions whether or not she actually viewed the movie or why she rated a movie a certain way, she just ignores them. she just has a letterboxd so people can talk about her, not because she actually likes movies.
...
>amaranth is easily the worst poster here
>but she doesn't actually post here
wew

Besides the work of Bela Tarr, the video game Tomb Raider was cited as an influence on the style of the film. Van Sant had mentioned that he hadn't had much experience with video games and was struck by the fact that the lack of the ability to cut away from the action in video games meant having to stay with the characters during travel that would normally be glossed over in films. In an interview with Filmmaker Magazine Van Sant stated "In some ways, Gerry is Béla Tarr fused with Tomb Raider!" [3]
