The /comfy/-est album in an artists discography.
Not the best, but the one that always sounds warm, cozy and familiar no matter how much you listen to it.

easily
This is comfier imo
OP here, I'll give you that it's a tough one. The Sensual World to me is a little too ambitious to be considered /comfy/ in it's entirety, but I'd does have some of her comfiest songs on it.

Fun fact my step mums dad is godfather to Kate Bush.
reminds me of childhood
which is weird because i'm 30 years late for the target audience
It sucks their music will never have this much (genuine) energy, emotion, and melody ever again.
>Songs like Breathing are comfy
i'm not trying to think about nuclear apocalypse and babies huffing on nuclear waste
this is a better choice

yeah, i'm not really sure i understand where they're trying to go
after reflektor i felt like they were somewhat directionless and just trying things to see what worked

The albums called Twinkle Echo if anyone's interested
Fahey's stage banter here is funny, there's a track just of him blowing his nose
10/10 album by the way
They've been getting more and more heavy handed with their messages. They don't even try to be poetic like their first three albums. Its really bad considering the musics now like really dull Low-era Bowie. Perfume fucking genius of all people did better

Oooh, that's a good one...
I honestly think that years from now, Reflektor will be seen as their magnum opus, the way we talk about U2 and Achtung Baby. I fucking hated it when it came out, and now it's just about the only Arcade Fire album that I ever listen to to. The back half, especially, is utterly flawless and has only gotten better with time. Like Achtung Baby, it's probably also the last truly, unquestionably great album that they'll ever record.
Neon Bible is my /comfy/ Arcade Fire album, though. It's not the stellar, flawless debut album that Funeral was, and it doesn't have anywhere near the ambition of The Suburbs or Reflektor. It's just a /comfy/ time machine back to 2007, like a better version of listening to The Bravery.
If comfy you mean, a great album to drink and get depressed with, then sure
...
That would be my definition of comfy desu, something I can sit in warmth and get drunk to drown my sorrows to.
i'm in the same boat, comfy music for the quiet times
Comfier than C&L
Post some comfy albums to listen to in bed
