Ex Machina

WTF I hate robots now...

underrated

yeah. bitch played him

>your boss will never surveil your porn habits to create alicia vikander exactly as she looks in Ex Machina but with a feminine penis

jdimsa

were you expecting her to run off with him into the sunset? it didn't end quite well for that dude that fell in love with his OS too.

>beta thought he was actually going to get some robopuss

>Porn preference manipulation Lmao

Poor bastard got his ass manipulated by his boss and by robo-bitch. This is why you don't trust androids.

kino?

A decent one IMO. A bit predictable nearing the end, but it still work out nicely. Not the best nor the most original sci-fi film ever, but the concept was still interesting. One of the best films in 2015.

8/10 watch it user

>the ultimate test of humanity was if she was capable of being a cunt
Nathan has us exact.

tfw no robot gf

>gets his eyes gouged out by his boss in Dredd
>gets manipulated and left for dead in Ex Machina
>gets pushed around by the boss's favorite little creep and loses his base in TFA

you think maybe one day Gleeson will get a role where he isn't shit on

Everyone got what was coming for them, but MC wasn't as dumb as I expected him to be.

I don't remenber, can she be outside the house for long periods?

>yfw you will never have a harem of sex robots

>left by his whole crew of friends in frank

Didn't he play a character in the Harry Potter films? I know his dad is Madeye Moody in real life.

Everything after she escaped the compound is stupid and pointless. We didn't need to see any of that and yet it drags on for five minutes. Ruins any ambiguity the ending may have had and also leaves a bad taste in your mouth after a pretty damn good 90 minutes.

It's a lot like the final helicopter shot of The Force Awakens. Where you're completely taken out of the movie and wondering what the director was thinking, and it's the last memory you'll have of the experience.

are robots inherently evil?

yeah but what did she do once she got into society

He made out pretty decently in About Time, iirc.

>Ultimately tried to push it in a direction he preferred because of his own need to be famous, which broke up the band until he repaired the damage he did
>Trying to push a guy who's clearly mentally unstable out of his comfort zone and in effect alienating the only friends he's had
>Left by his whole crew of friends

>movie about a robot becoming indistinguishable from a human woman
>robot manipulates and deceives the men and audience agrees that shes now a genuine woman

wtf why is this allowed

he's not a very good actor anyway, so it doesn't matter.

>Everything after she escaped the compound is stupid and pointless. We didn't need to see any of that and yet it drags on for five minutes. Ruins any ambiguity the ending may have had and also leaves a bad taste in your mouth after a pretty damn good 90 minutes.

I disagree it's not like the ending of Krampus, The Shallows and Cloverfiled Lane where the endings deflate all the tension and horror they built up. EX could have ended with her leaving or the way it did and it still has the same tone or feeling. It's not like it showed us a family photo of her living a life already. I also just remembered they talked about her doing it in his "tests" so its a necessary payoff in a sense.

>Doesn't get the girl in Brooklyn despite being the rich guy

>being gifted with advanced capabilities and intelligence without the hundreds of millions of years of instinct producing a deep-seated respect for lifeforms

Fucking abominations is what they are.

non-Asimov robots have the exact same nature as man. Asimov robots are good, as one of his characters notes his laws are just the laws good men go by.

When you create a non-Asimov robot with the life purpose of manipulating people, you can expect a decent amount of shit hitting the fan

More like
>WTF I am sexually aroused by robots now...

ending was bad

I still don't get how she got Nihonjin bot stab beardman.

lel all that robot needs is alicia's face and it's already 99% more attractive than 99% of women

I just came back from watching it
10/10 would recommend, I enjoyed it a lot

actually yeah, that too hahaha

"omg guess what u know when he like had sex with u? well it was basically rape cos u didnt consent so like rly rly bad so now u have to stab him just trust me im a robot too"

I just don't get how she managed to say all that by whispering so little

no tits
no ass

she has a pleasing face, you must admit that

How come this movie has never been on cable?
I have HBO, Starz, Showtime and Epix and it has not been on any of them.
