I want to follow pro divegrass leagues, do any of you euros have a babby's guide or something?

i want to follow pro divegrass leagues, do any of you euros have a babby's guide or something?

Not an yuro, but:
>Premier is the most entertaining league
>Liga has the best top teams
>Serie A and Bundesliga are a one-team league
>Ligue 1 is the same as the Premier, but without entertainment

what kind of guide? just like how they work or what team you want to follow?

you're best off following the premier league for starters, it's very accessible in the US I think

wait until the weekend and follow the games here, see if you like it. I'd recommend only following 1-2 leagues at most

watch champions league games later today

Premier league top 6 teams are all plastic clubs the rest are hard working lads. Leicester is the only team worth it but only during last season.
La Liga is fun but all clubs are bound to lose to either halal or barça. Every other year there is a third dark horse and shit.
Bundes is bayernwinslol but the clubs have a lot of pride on their divegrass
Series A is juventuswinslol with a bunch of Ok teams following behind. Lots of good old history.
Ligue 1 has literally long running xwinslol dynasties.

Since you're a fellow Amerilard, let me save you some time.

EPL is the obvious choice. It's in English, the league is competitive and exciting, and the media coverage is by far the best out of the big leagues.

LaLiga is entertaining if Real Madrid or Barcelona is playing. Otherwise, snoozers. And the coverage is basic.

Bundesliga is covered by Fox. That's enough to ruin it.

Serie A is boreball with terrible coverage.

Ligue 1 is a dumpster fire.

EPL - most popular
La Liga - the strongest
Bundesliga and Serie A - for hipsters
No one watches Ligue 1.

"competitive" more like lack of quality thats why any team can beat any team.

how do those "competitive teams" do in cl?

op, guess I'll go with premier league (was planning on that one anyway) and la liga

what's a good site for learning about the players, teams, and so on?

>EPL is the obvious choice. It's in English,
No it isn't
go K-League
premier league website has all you need really

as for the styles of specific teams then idk, just ask about whatever team your interested in then I could tell you about them

Quality:
1. La Liga
2. Bundes
3. EPL
4. Serie A

Title race:
1. EPL
2. La Liga
3. Serie A
4. Bundes

Star players:
1. EPL
2. La Liga
3. Serie A
4. Bundes

Variety:
1. La Liga
2. Bundes
3. Seria A
4. EPL

Realness:
1. Bundes
2. Serie A
3. La Liga
4. EPL

just follow the rankings and watch the top games, no need to force it. Everything else will come naturaly

Why the fuck are people comparing the Eritrean league with european leagues?

follow your local MLS team. you're only going to look more like a faggot for following a team that only plays thousands of miles away.

>Star players:
>1. EPL
ay

Just follow the Portuguese League.

Please, watch our league!

wikipedia

>supports a foreign team over his local team

unacceptable, unless you have no teams anywhere near you... pay attention to MLS though, its growing insanely fast

Every team relies on one or two expensive stars there
Not the biggest and best maybe, but still

>Mfw the liga nos has better coverage than the Italian league in the us simply because soccer is mostly still a Mexican sport and Univision bought the rights for their sports only channel meanwhile serie A competes with la liga in beIN sports

no it isn't

>Serie A is boreball
end this meme alredy

Nah m8, don't do that, it is a fucking joke, especially if you live here and deal with the eternal shitpost on every newspaper 24/7
Still, the Clássicos are fucking amazing, some of the most competitive games I've ever seen, and the players are EPLtop6-tier the most of them, the rest of the games are just a general waste of time

It's getting better, but juvewinslol ruins the whole league

It helps that we have high profile Mexican players here.

Just watch the eredivisie
It's the comfiest
>mfw dirkie wins one for da noord

This has nothing to do with boreball tho

go to your local MLS games, you won't like a sport by watching teams you don't know play on TV you dumb plastic burger

I actually enjoy games like Torino-Sampdoria or something like that, but Juve-anyone is just dreadful (except maybe Napoli or Fio)

True, best way to enjoy a match is live

Every top team against bottom teams is usually bad to watch. Real-Barca vs anyone under Villareal are usually just one way rapes, as are Bayern vs anyone but a couple of teams

I have a thing for the early sunday matches, throwback to when Serie A was big in the 90s

Watch the premier league, it's really competition. Almost 4 teams can win in any given decade with maybe a 5th competitor one year in every generation. It's like the NBA with slightly fewer competitive teams.

What happened to Serie A anyways, how did it turn to shit

Cacliopoli.

>as are Bayern vs anyone but a couple of teams
Buyern isn't nearly as dominant this season as they used to be. At the same time, all other good teams have shit the bed, so it balances out. People are still not sure, if it's due to a general lack of quality, or if it's the smaller teams getting good and taking the next step in footballing tactics.

It's kinda exciting to watch, and I'm fairly sure that the next big meme tactics are all going to originate from there.

If it's about competition then Brasileirao is the best by far.

They `found out about the bribes

That is true, but you have to admit the same team beating 2nd place by 20 points doesn't exactly project a great image for any league, and Serie A tends to be the worst on that aspect. Still, the wquality of the games is improving, and it's atracting more big players

Oh yeah that happened.

>buy fifa or FM
>learn all the players/teams
>watch PL on NBC every week

welcome

Calciopoli
general financial crisis
shit stadiums that still cost a lot to attend so low attendance
stadiums not owned by teams mean less revenue
building your own stadium is a burocraic nightmare (see: roma's new stadium)
generally poor marketing
both Milan teams are in a down period because they used to be sugardaddy teams and doesnt really work anymore

I unironically think Pirmeira Liga is better than Ligue 1.

>but you have to admit the same team beating 2nd place by 20 points doesn't exactly project a great image for any league
of course, but that is a recent thing and it's due mainly to the collapse of Milan and Inter.

It is :3

The EPL isn't broadcast in English in America? Fuck off, moron.

It's not broadcast here at all. Why are you getting a random african league broadcast over there?

Don't even need that much, just watch games regularly for a year and you will learn a lot about the game.
You live in America, so I guess the guys talking during the game try to explain the rules a big part of the game, try to pay attention to what they say.
For the small things, just lurk around the generals and expose your questions there

Closest MLS team to me is 400 miles away. We don't all live in little countries, Gonzalo.

Worse players, but better football and competition in general ;)
2-3 years are enough for a league to lose all credibility. No one gave a fuck about our league until Porto turned to shit

Sad desu

You're right, at least according to the UEFA coefficient

Hey OP, just listen to me. Follow Real Madrid and a premier league team. You will thank me later.

That is the American point of view, the fun is in going though bad times, because the good timer will feel incredibly better

>He's a flyover

Hardly. I probably live in the most popular city in America at the moment. There is talks of an MLS club coming here, but desu, I still won't support them. Fuck those hipsters.

Well, you could watch Liga MX and befriend your chicanos neighbors. Is not a bad league desu

If I spoke Spanish well enough, I'd probably watch the league religiously. There's plenty of TV coverage and the quality is far above MLelS.

>befriend your chicanos neighbors.

I'll just skip that part.

I don't blame you, Chicanos are...well, they are special.

You don't have too, I'm sure there are good English coverage and the meme are exceptional. It's not a great league but hell, is a fun one

>he doesn't watch the bundes

>Realness

Literally what does this even mean

No point in explaining if you don't know
If you are Dutch, you should know

What? Ligue 1 coefficient is ahead of Primeira Liga's again atm. In fact, Primeira Liga is barely ahead of Russia's league and will probably be overtaken next year when the 12/13 coefficient doesn't count anymore.

PSG > Benfica
Monaco > Porto
Sporting > Nice

The rest of Ligue 1 is in general comfortably better than the rest of Primeira Liga

stop this meme

In what world is Monaco better than Porto?

Monaco are better than Porto.

t. Half Portuguese Arsenal/Porto fan.

in what way is it not. have you seen how good they are right now. they've got a better shot at the cl than psg

It's Champions League time, follow that and bandwagon whatever team(s) you like best.

Delusionals

Yeah.
Just watch the Champions' League

Please don't watch our league

Чeмпиoнaт Poccии пo фyтбoлy > The rest

please kill you're self

>you're self

Sorry piero, but it's the true, your "big dogs" besides juve are dumpsters and no one cares about catania, unidese or some other mid tier team

>Nicaragua
kek

In short, money, big name players don't go there anymore, stadiums are shit, so people don't bother to go, it doesn't have the international push as La Liga or the Premier do, and that hurts them

lascia fare zì
