imagine if a euro team tried to do this

Asians can't be racist, even though they are the most racist people on earth

yeah they are going to lose

or american

France would benefit the most desu. The amount of talent they produce is unreal.

He's delusional, it won't work.

You mean like Athletic?

Lol they are already irrelevant in the AFC champions league despite their lavish spending. Making it only chinese is going to send them back by 10 years. At least do what MLS does and keep a few star players with the rest coming from the domestic side of the clubs.

Yeah, you always need a more experienced player.

Chinese won't get better playing against themselves, Mexico and US are a good example of that, no competition for NT so they never improve.

Meanwhile there's also the other side, Liga MX has more foreigners than mexicans so it hurts the mexican talent pool, kids that could explode in their early 20's are never given the chance because they don't succeed at 18 and get changed by foreigners.

a real team

Athletic Bilbao has been doing this forever.

But I guess local patriotism is politically correct...

kek they will never be champs again

>Athletic is not a real team
You do realize they're the 3rd most winning team in Spain right?

This is why I don't talk to burgers

But chinks suck at sports

you saw what happened, they bought 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 yuans worth of players and still lost to brisbane roar comfortably

Who gives a fuck? It's China, not the Prem.

Being third mid season means shit

Why does China suck so much at Football anyway? I mean they have the money, training facilities and a big talent pool. Yet they don't even have one single star player that is internationally famous.
AC Milan used to do this as well I believe.

China still puts more time and effort into Olympics. And it still takes a lot of time and experience to get good at the international level. A country like Germany needed a complete overhaul of talent development and in 10 years were absolutely stuffing the leagues with domestic players. Then you keep pushing against better players until you win.

>/chinkshitgeneral/

Germany always had quality players. It's just that their direct football lost effectivness in the 90's (yet Germany still fared pretty good in international tournaments).

A better exemple would be Belgium which was always dreadful until a major overall in the early 2000's.
The Belgian football federation did not understand how France could have won the 1998 World Cup and the 2000 European Cup thus they decided to copy the methods of the French youth teams.
Now you have Hazard etc etc

That was Shanghai Greenland Shenhua

Yawn.
Been there, done that

He's talking about titles potato nigger

Why would anyone want an "all chinese/all [one race]" team anyway? I'll admit to some ignorance being from the United States, but isn't being able to pick from the WORLD'S best players seen as a huge advantage?

I can understand that maybe China's quality of players has improved over a certain number of years so they no longer have to look for foreign talent, but why handcuff yourself?

Because they're dumb

China's quality of players will take ages to improve to a point where this would be a good idea. Maybe if they said 2120, that'd be more reasonable.

You don't talk to burgers because you're beneath us and always will be. Got it, boy?

>Why would anyone want an "all chinese/all [one race]" team anyway? I'll admit to some ignorance being from the United States, but isn't being able to pick from the WORLD'S best players seen as a huge advantage?

So they can build a base for the National Team, communication is easier, everyone has already worked so they know how the workplace is.

And most of the foreigners in chinese league are pretty trash, Robinho was not even in starting lineup

>having more and more foreigners in your league
>actually improving the players

just look at england

lmao'ing at all the people who genuinely thought China would be a threat to the European leagues.

It's clear as day they only want token foreigners to bring the crowds in so they can say "we're a football mad country, give us the world cup"! Once they win a bid for the world cup the funding will dry up.

It's always ok as long as you aren't white.

At least you can recognize this

At the end of the day AFC leagues will always be handicapped by the 3 +1 rule

Either way, it won't work

Football just isn't that big in Chinese culture. It'll take generations for them to git gud.

Or once their economy slows down and the government stops funding this sillyness

It's a meme. Anyone from any country who learned their skills at a Basque club is eligible.

>all Chinese squad

NEVER BE THE BEST EVER

It would be great if all euro teams did this.

Why would it be great if a europe did this? Imagine the quality of sports and how we would've never seen messi play cause nobody would've paid for his transition and sprite addiction.

We would've never seen Ronaldo (the brazilian one) play because english or italian players can't compete. All the best players won't have a haven to move to and a goal to look forward to.

If anything, we should be laughing at China for trying to not use their powerful investments to bring quality and people to watch their league.

Chivas Is the only one doing It right, just mexicans. Atletic Bilbao has Laporte for crying out loud.

if only euro teams did this

The Basque region extends a little into France
