The fuck happened?

The fuck happened?

you can hide CG issues better at night.

>The fuck happened?

Conveyer belt style production.

seriously, why is that?

Exactly . With more than enough power to do things to right way ..i don't get it.

what does this picture show??

Clearly the second was shot in the middle of the day. This lighting is often considered the worst, because it creates a bland atmosphere and no distinct, heavy shadows. However, thematically this is in tune with the fight scene, where both sides aren't putting in full effort. They are almost having fun with the battle, which is why we don't have dramatic lighting at the airport.

However, this all changes when Rhodes gets hit and puts an emotional cap to what is going on. You can contrast this with the fight scene at the end in the bunker.

that's what you get when you put tv movies on the big screen

Who cares, the first two films didn't even have a script.

RDJ doesn't work well as a hero character.

I'm more asking wtf happened with the downgrading in designs and use of practical effects.

Designs aren't downgraded. Top is CG.

Both photos are CGI is my point.

>Top picture is Paramount
>Bottom is Disney

One is at night, one is in the day. The quality of the CGI is exactly the same.

1/3 of the budget goes to RDJ and 1/3 goes to the rest of the actors and crew which leaves 1/3 of the budget for special effects. They realized they could cheap out on special effects and make it look like a made for tv movie because people would go see it regardless.

People talk about the CGI,
but just look at how shitty the composition is in the civil war image.

top, rdj was paid $10m
bottom, rdj was paid $46m

Chris evans was paid more for civil war than RDJ

well i would hope so it is... a captain america movie....

The first one is filmed at night and is therefore kino, like BvS.

Why bother when the target demographic doesn't care or notice?

>Directed by actual proper director who with his skill started essentially the entire marvel universe
>Directed by hack tv show directors

Wow yeah. How come they are so different?

I can't say I blame rdj for using a greedy, shit corporation such as Disney when he had the chance.

Don't believe that for a second.

>I s-swear... I swear it looked bad.... please believe me... please

>It must look good, I put screenshots into a grid, that unironically makes it quality cinematography!

they went over budget for hte cgi making RDJ younger.

/thread

Hey listen to this great music
>posts a jpg of a waveform

RDJ got $40 million and we don't know what Evans got but he only got $6.9 million in age of ultron.

you're wrong.

>green screen in literally every shot

...

>green screen is bad

Every shot looked GREAT in the theater.

you messed with the contrast

ITT: DCcuccks still butthurt part2: marvel movie shaming with cherrypicked scenes

That makes him my hero

Chris Evans is first on the poster.
The first name gets the highest pay.

RDJ was paid more, man.

Ike Permultter literally went to war with Kevin Feige over RDJ's pay.

Plus RDJ got residuals from the box office since the movie crossed $1 billion.

ILM moved on

They have RDJ 1/5 of the production budget

And people call Snyder movies grey...

>The fuck happened?
perspective from camera angle

I'm not saying the CGI was good but I can almost see the YIFY colour blocks from the thumbnail.

There are no practicals in either of those shots, you retard.
The first post in the thread told you everything you needed to know and you ignored it.

DAYLIGHT

there is a reason almost all CGI heavy kinos have the most intense scenes during the night.
