/brit/

I was always thinking about creating a new /brit/ thread but I has always been a bit shy. I think it all began when I was around 5. I can't remember what happened but ever since I always felt anxious when I had to do a public speech or generally being in the centre of attention. It has all changed when I first arrived on Sup Forums. The guys on /r9k/ did an absolutely A* job with showing me the right direction. I first went to /adv/ where I was advised to do something for myself by either regularly visiting /lit/ or /fit/. I chose the latter, and ever since been hitting the gym 5 days a week. After nearly a year I got into a pretty good shape. /adv/ then recommended me to visit /soc/ and find a gf. I never had a girlfriend. There was that one girl in second grade but I don't think I was being serious enough back then to think about it. So I hit the /soc/ and met that one Irish girl. We started chatting over Skype and after few weeks decided to meet up. I invited her to a local restaurant in my city where my parents had their first date, hoping it will bring me a good luck. Everything was going well, we chatted, exchanged thoughts, discussed our life plans, and so on. The time flew and before I noticed it was already 10pm. I offered her a lift home but she refused. I mean I can't blame her; she was brave enough to meet a stranger from Sup Forums in real life. She took uber home. The next day I texted her suggesting another meeting. She hasn't replied for few hours but then my phone finally buzzed. I was extremely worried by this point as I thought she decided to cut me off. So I picked up my phone trying to unlock it. My hands were shaking and sweating so the sensor couldn't read my fingerprint. I went with plan b and decided to input my backup password to unlock the phone. Then my mate Aaron started ringing. I got angry as it wasn't the best moment, but after a moment of hesitation I answered the call. He asked me if I heard the news, but 2000 character limit has been reached
