Melbourne is actually a cool place

melbourne is actually a cool place.

I'm not one of those anti-Melbourne memers and think it's a nice place, but it really isn't very Australian anymore.

Genuinely worried that it's going to push the rest of the country in that direction too Tbh

*BRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP*

Gross... how is she so fat, and yet still thinks anyone wants to see her ass...

BLLLLLAAAAAARRRRRPPPPFFFF

PPPPRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRTTTTTTT

Bogan detected.

Actually upper middle class mate

Not every city is a carbon copy of Melbourne

Earning lots of money from the mines doesn't make you a non bogan.

>implying cashed up bogans still exist

I saw a brand new Holden Clubsport in brisbane the otherday with rego plating saying "DIG DIRT"

Obviously a cashed up bogan from the mines.

very cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute
who?

on his way to sell it

redpill me on melbirn

Cool place full of graffiti and independent record stores and musicians.

It got a reputation for being full of those things and sjws eventually came from all over australia and moved to Melbourne for the "culture".

This is why right wingers hate melbourne.

burappu
mmm yesu

Every people I've met had a lot to say on Australia, even the supposedly rumored shithole of Darwin, but never about Melbourne.

Why?

Probably don't need as many mail order brides and nurses in Melbourne as the rest of Australia.

That's my biggest gripe. It's just a multicultural shithole.

Stay in your country town full of 2 dollar houses and high school drop outs Mr Bogan.

It's more fun there for you because you can ride a dirt bike in a paddock and play loud music without neighbours complaining as the country bogans like to say.

...

Literally though

what?

...

...

is it the california of roo land?

...

They're the types of people who elect Greens party fuckwits.

san francisco

...

I would like the greens if they weren't so pro refugees.

Skilled migrants are cool, refugees are not.

I would like them if they weren't so anti-guns, anti-freedom, emotional blackmailing cunts.

It's conservatives that are anti freedom bro.

but without having the money of silicon valley right next door

No, all of the major parties are anti-freedom.

...

...

I hate pauline hason and I hate the greens.

They are both at extreme and irrational ends of the same spectrum.

That Pauline Hason bitch makes anyone who isn't pro refugees look like a stupid racist bogan everytime on TV.

She could talk about the statistics of crime from Refugees and make a rational point but no, she just goes on big massive uneducated rants.

Fuck refugees and fuck pauline hanson.

If anything she is helping them because people are scared to speak up about refugees because they don't want to be associated with bogan scum like her.

The greens are so left wing that they are blinded by facts and they want to let in refugees.

Refugees suck, if you are going to let people in let in smart educated people.

We already have a bogan problem, refugees are just like bogans but from places like Sudan.

They are noisy, feral, cause crime and make places into unlivable shit holes.

Refugees are basically the same thing as 1 nation voters but from another country.

yeah but nah but, sharia law m8

See I know Sharia Law could never become a problem in Australia.

If I say I dislike refugees people will put me in the same category as people who think Sharia Law could take over Australia to the point where women are getting beat to death with stones in the street for showing their ankles.

There is a problem with middle eastern muslims coming here too but I don't want to be associated with Pauline Hanson fans.

I have a problem with their economic and refugee policies

Their hearts are in the right place, they just have absolutely no understanding of the negative impact they'd have on Australia

that's a surprise, Melbourne and Sydney are normally the only two places people know

most Australians aren't even sure where Adelaide and Perth are on a map

It wouldn't "take over" but it could gain a foothold to the point where people just let it happen like in the UK

I don't really care about the colour of people's skin, just the overall culture of the place. There's plenty of asians and curries where I live, but I feel like pre-21st century Australian culture still exists here.

A weirdly huge number of foreigners know where Perth is and I don't know why. Maybe because it's the only significant thing on the west side

yeah good post

it's popular with people from Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia since they can fly out there for the weekend

I'm surprised that extends up to the Philippines though

Yeah. Really I feel like you need to handle migration on a case by case basis

Australia is still having problems with Lebanese migrants from 30 years ago, many of whom weren't muslim. Conversely I have a few pakistani mates who are fantastic guys, work hard, love Australia and have tried their best to assimilate into Australian culture.

>Their hearts are in the right place
I'm not so sure that's true. They have made it very clear they don't give two shits about negative liberties, and the way they acted on those voting and senate reforms, now that they've gotten into parliament as a reasonably significant force, they're quite happy to slam the door on smaller parties, and by extension, democratic pluralism.

They're just another bunch of power-hungry scumbags to me.

and vietnamese immigrants from 40 years ago...

The Vietnamese kids who grow up here are cool but I hate the parents who have been here since the 70's or 80's and still don't speak english.

Tbh I think the Vietnamese have been some of the best migrants Australia has had from my personal experience

the city fucking smells and is full of rubbish brisbane is better

>brisbane is better
Yeah, and vomit is worse than piss. Doesn't say much.

Melb is alright. But it should just declare Asian control already and do away with the stupid sjw bullshit.

I live in Brisbane and think it's a shit hole.

It could be better if it wasn't fir shitty politicians.

In what way is brisbane better than melbourne other than the cost of living?

why is it always Suicidelanders that feel the need to tear Sydney and Melbourne down?

is this the famous tall poppy syndrome?

Brisbane has nothing for it in terms of culture and when they visit they usually don't even check the place out properly.

Hello Ahmed

I agree. You can watch NASA launch rockets from the beach, and property is cheap.
