>asks to be killed so he doesn't become a zombie
>main character can't bring himself to kill him so he leaves the gun behind
>moments later when the main character is far enough a gun shot is heard

>character covered in zombie blood from killing
>doesn't accidentally ingest any or get any in his own wounds thus infecting himself

then the character pops out of nowhere

(He shot a zombie)

>the character comes back later, they used that final shot to kill a zombie.

>single drop of infected blood falls of from a passing bird
>lands right in the fathers eye making him a zombie

>person knows their infected
>other survivor brutally kills them where they stand

>character becomes a zombie
>they see someone they used to know
>utter that person's name

>character gets bitten by a dog
>other survivor sees his wound and think he's infected
>character explains it was a dog, not a zombie
>no one believes him

>survivors think they're the last ones left alive
>soldiers want to repopulate by raping girls
>hero sees a plane and knows that there are other survivors
