>Assad's forces have 'used sarin nerve gas' for the first time since Syria's notorious 2013 massacre
Why sunni iraqis are truly worst? Leave them alone for 5 minutes and they either pull baghdadi or saddam. Like, even sauds arent even that bad.
Lucas Foster
Will Putin recommit forces or is he going to concede Assad is done. It is laughable that /sg/ thinks the Russian military is some juggernaut, while in reality it has been exposed as neither effective or capable.
Eli Ward
anyone know which part of Homs is still held by rebels?
300.000 Bombing claim the difference. Russia is capable of a war but at the moment its economy is shit due to Western Sanctions. We should elp Russia defeat the Terrorists.
>while in reality it has been exposed as neither effective or capable
Jason Rivera
just as any leader or expert ever said about Russia.. look where it got them
James Garcia
>not sleeping >decide to catch up on syrian developments while playing some FTL to kill time >game is about trying to stop rebels who have shitted up a once prosperous and peaceful galactic federation >the rebels are real dickbutts and not much different than all the other space scum you fight on your way to the final battle >wait this is kinda like Syria... >end up doing pic related I'm now going to sleep because I have officially been awake too long.

youtu.be/wwxcnnirdss >Russia is bombing the last access to Aleppo, the Castello Road
PARIS (Reuters) - Major powers failed to agree on a new date for peace talks between warring Syrian parties, the U.N.'s special envoy said on Tuesday.
"The issue is still waiting for some type of concrete outcome of this meeting but we cannot wait too long, we want to keep the momentum," Staffan de Mistura told reporters alongside U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
The powers agreed to reinforce a ceasefire across the country and to push through humanitarian aid deliveries to besieged areas, including through air drops.

Russians Building Army Base at Syria's Palmyra Site
The Russian military is constructing a new army base in the central Syrian town of Palmyra, within the protected zone that holds the archaeological site listed by UNESCO as a world heritage site and without asking for permission from relevant authorities, an American heritage organization and a top Syrian archaeologist said Tuesday.
>without asking for permission from relevant authorities
So permission from Syria is not enough? I guess Russia also needs to ask USA for permission
Austin Peterson
Who did this? Syrian army or ISIS?

What does /sg/ think of the Assad helps isis meme? Eg. I have heard on mulitple occasions that he buys oil from them.
Adam Ward
i'm not a regular on /sg/ but why not ? you can have a deal with the devil if you are fighting against even worse enemy. if nazis could buy oil from soviet union they would continue war for longer time. Tanks and Jets need oil.
Dominic Allen
I will raid this thread when i arrived rhe home you bitches
Ian Lopez
I believe it's true. But without oil, Syria doesn't even have a single chance, tanks and jets all need oil.
Someone (Turkey) will buy the oil anyway, it's not like it would make a difference to ISIS.
Now if you consider that isis has large oil fields in syria under control, and sells them to turkey or other 3rd parties at a price lower then int market price, would you not buy to help your troops oil under the market price? yeah it's a double edged thing to do, but where else could you get cheap oil if not from your own oil fields, would it be better if they only bought oil via the accept way which is by legal means? and there's sanctions on it?
Julian Carter
ISIS attacking #Jazal oilfield meanwhile #SAA advances in #Shaer oilfield E #Homs
No, that's the whole point. They don't have permission from Syria either. They just kinda built a military base right next to the archaeological site like they owned the place and called it a day.
Josiah Taylor
>They don't have permission from Syria either. Source?

Alleppo Offensive has somewhat stopped. Rebels keep attacking. Isis is doing attacks near Palmyra They get some good kills from the air which is nice but the progress is slow.
