Born and raised southerner here. I don't however appreciate statues honoring traitors to the United States or those that defended the slave trade. That being said, I've never inmy 40 years seen more than one or two people grouped around any civil war era statues until all of this idiocy started. It's not like a bunch of white people gather around these things and heap praise and honor upon them. Just as I don't get triggered while driving down Julio Chavez boulevard.

The one of Lee is one of the few that is grand, put it in a museum i think. We should have statues of self proclaimed American traitors in the light of them being heroes.
