Captain. I recommend a full spread of torpedoes!

Just one full spread?

>tfw worf was an awful character for most of TNG but was based as fuck in ds9

Captain. Perhaps we should use this opportunity to test the new quantum torpedoes?

Why can't I have a Vulcan character as good as Worf

youtube.com/watch?v=z2MEYMMDhKk

Absolutely insane.

he's not insane, just happy

Insane, happy, overreacting, loud — he was the best captain, the most alive one.

>hates ds9 so much he refuses to live on it.

>muh klingon opera

Its full of fucking Bajorans tbf

Gul Dukat plz go

Shut your affirmative-action hire kligger mouth.

I never knew Raimi guest directed!

Which one will die first?

Dukat loves him some Bajoran pussy though

i am finished with watching ds9, it comes in no way close to babylon 5.
many stories are like a soap opera, especially the one with dukat and kai winn.

but it has good episodes and really great characters.

dukat (until he goes full satanist), damar, garak, weyoun.
i love dukats smile.

Friendly reminder that Dukat did nothing wrong.

I've been watching the show for the first time and Dukat is awesome. His moment with Sisko about his son in "Defiant" was really well done.

Friendly reminder that Mollari did nothing wrong too.

I definitely prefer DS9. Don't get me wrong I love B5, but it can often be extremely stodgy and preachy, and I fucking hate every single Minbari character especially Delenn.

DS9 is more dynamic, more entertaining and has a far better cast. In B5 the only ones who can act worth a shit are Jurasik and Katsulas.

all memes aside Dukat was my favorite character in ds9

>nigga
>not petaQ
You had one job!

entertaining like a soap opera.
there are good episodes, and i really liked damars attitude when the breen become part of the dominion, there are many things i like but there are endless cringy and annyoing stories.
kira and odo, worf and ezri, and what i really hated was the holosuite swing crap, so amyn episodes with this crap, pure filler episodes.
ds9 has too many bad fillers, way too many.

the end fight between sisko and dukat was lame.

kay winn was the most annoying character in a star trek show.

i could go on but who cares.

Commander, tell me about your flight plan.

I wouldn't call it filler, DS9 simply wasn't as arc-oriented as B5. Just because it's a standalone episode doesn't make it filler. I mean, by that logic every single episode of TOS and TNG is filler

Anyway, I didn't find any of the stories to be "cringy" except the Dukat and Winn shit in season 7.

Odo is the best DS9 character, any other opinion is objectively wrong

i just think he's high as a kite desu

I don't like him as much as Kirk but he's a hell of a lot better than Picard, Janeway, Archer or nu-Kirk

His ridiculously over-the-top acting style bothers a lot of people, but personally I love it. Also I legit teared up during his monologue in 'Far Beyond the Stars'

>I CREATED IT, AND IT'S REAL!

he's had a few orb experiences

>not Garak
>not Quark
Odo was an edgelord faggot who would have sold out the alpha quadrant in 2 seconds if it wasn't for his waifu

>When u thrown so far u become another nigga.

SHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEIIIIIIIIITTTT!!

I disagree. He's not so much edgy as he is introverted and insecure, the only time he feels confident is when he's doing his job so he overcompensates.

I love Rene Auberjonois' portrayal, such a great actor, he can relay so much with a few subtle expressions and gestures. I also can't think of a single Odo-centric episodes that wasn't great, although there is probably at least one.

That's a big spread of torpedoes

Reminder: your sexual organs did nothing wrong.

>it's a "worf gets bitched down by Sisko" episode

Odo's scoffing is my favourite Star Trek mannerism. Also, shapeshifting pansperm of quadrant-conquering race ranks at the top of interesting character bios.

Wesley is still my favourite character in toto but Odo is a close second.

HOO BANGIN ON THESE TRANSPONDERS

THESE TRICK ASS VULCANS QUICK TO TUCK THEY TAIL

BUT FUCK THAT YOU KNOW HOW WE GET

CANT GET ENOUGH OF THIS KLINGON SHEEEIT

>Wesley is still my favourite character

Gene please go

MFW I've entered the Nigger Quadrant

>it's a "quark and other ferengi get into some goddamn shenanigans" episode

>it's a "ferengi ear foreplay episode"

Odo winding up Quark was some of the best scenes in Ds9.

>you will never drink with general Martok

their banter was great, probably my favorite part of the show

I'd rather have beers with Miles and Julian, then go have an adventure in the holosuite

Why were they flying planes in the Battle of Britain though? O'Brien is Irish, he should have sat there doing nothing while Bashir fought and then sent letters of condolences to Germany when Hitler died.

>ywn drink kanar with damar

Non Americans play CoD & Battlefield. People who aren't in the Rebel Alliance irl play Star Wars Battlefront. Maybe as it was a fucking game you autist?

>kanar
I bet it tastes disgusting, no thanks. Give me some of that Romulan Ale instead

>Worf decides to "improve" the torpedo guidance system
>When fired they fucking flying off into space

...

>It's a Quark becomes head of a Klingon House episode

I love how TNG fans actively go out of their way to say how much better TNG is to all other series, but all agree that the first three seasons are shit.
Then, they'll justify not watching ds9 because the first episode is dry and boring.

The first season is ds9 is better than most of TNG.

>tfw no Klingon waifu

Who the fuck "agrees" that season 3 of TNG is bad?

Duet is the only Trek episode that has ever made me cry

no one

Season 3 is when the show became great, mostly thanks to Michael Piller

Probably actually. It looks like it's syrup, but I'd be willing to try it just to drink with damar.

how many bitches did Quark have??

Two. Whatever. Still, that's 48 episodes with about 10 good ones. The general consensus is that they suck, but TNG is still the best series.

DS9 is just the stronger series

I laughed way too hard at this...

A lot.

>DS9 is just the stronger series
Agreed, but I still love TNG.

DS9 > TOS > TNG >>>>>>>>>> ENT = VOY > TAS

>not exclusively drinking Saurian Brandy

Why DS9 is always officially treated by the studios/creators/rights owners as "oh yeah, we've made that too I guess"? TOS and TNG became pop culture exhibits, they are THE Star Trek for most people, but why do I get the feeling that even VOY gets more honorable mentions and DS9 is more like a black sheep? That new book for example, 50 years mission, on the cover - giant heads of Janeway and Picard, Sisko's is the smallest.

It's because TNG was hippy "violence is bad" propaganda, while DS9 was "violence has a time and a place, though we should learn how to avoid it". The latter allowed the character of Worf to actually influence the plot. Plus, giving Worf a badass Klingon friend allowed his to embrace his badassness

It's getting more respect on that cover than Enterprise.

I personally prefer DS9. I feel like the characters in B5 are a bit flat and forgettable. They don't really feel iconic outside of G'Kar and Londo. I think B5 does a bit of a better job of tying things together.

That said, the reason I prefer Deep Space 9 is that it has the best character moments. It's legitimately funny at times, and had some really heart warming moments. I'm the kind of person who didn't mind the early seasons of DS9 purely because it was so "comfy".

There's also that 6 episode stretch at the start of season 6 that's just arguably the most entertaining arc in any sci-fi show.

Because normies don't even know DS9 exists.

"Commander, tell me about your sexual organs."

Voyager was pretty good why everyone hate on it? It has the best opening theme at least.

Gowron and Martok had so many good moments & lines throughout DS9... Martok was in way more episodes but Gowron's appearances were always memorable.

DS9 ratcheted up my love for these bumpy-headed goons to 1000

>It's O6hundred hours, Damar
>Are you drunk yet?

>while DS9 was

about a shopping mall in outer space with a "captain" and the sweetheart of everybody was this stinky space hag

our sides!

I love Jeffrey Combs. I got to meet him at a con, really nice guy and enjoyed talking about Trek

>its a holodeck functions as it was intended episofe

>It's The Rock kicks the shit out of Seven episode, guest starring: Jeffrey Combs, Martok

idk, it's retarded. I feel like DS9 has its own fanbase that's almost kind of separate from the show. The weird thing is, DS9 actually had better ratings than Voyager.

DS9 has a good cult following.

>It's a sexy Cardassian tries to get in O'brien's pants episode

Why is DS9 so fucking good bros? I'm partway through season three and almost every single episode so far has been amazing. So many good character moments and Gul Dukat bringing the banter. Does it keep getting even better?

>It's a Vic Fontaine episode

Because it's Star Trek except better because the characters feel like real people, rather than mythological legends. It has character oriented b-plots that allow for maximum comfy.

Was it him singing? I mean the actor. Compared to Sinatra it felt like a cheap knock off.

Yes, it was him singing.

He actually put out an album of all the songs he sang on DS9.

>Come to Quark's
>Quark's is fun
>come right now
>don't walk - run!

Why didn't Sisko let Quark put his little advertisements around the station? What was the harm?

I've never seen a single episode of DS9, is there an episode guide of skippable / must see episodes if I try watching the series?

>Voyager was pretty good why everyone hate on it?
Because as good as Voyager was, every other Star Trek was even better.

There is an episode guide floating around, but you shouldn't be a pussy.

Watch all the episodes, most of them are good anyway.

Why don't you actually try watching the series from the pilot episode and decide if it's worth it by yourself? Like a normal person not an autist? It's not like your time is limited or something,

yeeeeee boiiiii ds9 is my favorite trek too yo. Sisco be the riilist.

>Compared to Sinatra it felt like a cheap knock off.
Well, he was a cheap Sinatra knock off. Who was a real person in the mirrorverse for whatever reason.

Just go commit yourself to watching the first season, my friend. Most of the first season is boring, but the last two episodes of it are pure gold, and they should convince you to watch the rest of the series too. But don't skip ahead to those episodes or you won't understand who anyone is or why they do what they do.

Because it could have been so much better than it was.

A mixed crew of Federation officers and Maquis terrorists flung half way across the galaxy with limited resources and a long ride home. The concept was brilliant and a great spin on "boldly going where no man has gone before."

But the execution was absolutely terrible to the point where many of the episodes are unwatchable.

> You will never kick the shit out of Seven of Nines ass.

>It has the best opening theme at least.
This is true.

>does it keep getting better
yes
By the end of the show secondary characters will go through transformations and become better people. Battles will be fought and a war will be won. Friendships will harden into unbreakable bonds. All this and more on a beat up Cardassian space station by a jew as fuck planet

Taking on a Star Trek series in the backlog is A LOT and we all know every trek series has a good chunk of awful episodes. I'd probably jump into the series in the next week if I can find a good place to watch it but, those episode guides are usually there for a good reason

thanks m8, saved

>"boldly going where no man has gone before."
btw since when did they butcher this legendary line? It's "boldly going where NO ONE has gone before." now if I'm not mistaken. The original one was too damn sexist probably.

>It's a the Doctor gets sexually aroused while inside of Seven of Nines tight borg body which causes her to get slightly wet episode.

>since when
Since S01E01 of TNG.
