tfw your country is so powerful that it is mentioned twice in the ranking

quality bait, have a (you)

The Umayyad empire should be higher, it spread Islam pretty far

That's like saying India means Britain is counted twice.

We got Portugal, Ummayad Empire, Spain and Rome, so we win.

The Netherlands have always been the richest part of the HRE when we were still in. I can't say the same about India under British rule.

I'm sure he didn't mean what he said about the Ottomans, Mehmet.

>Umayyad Caliphate fifth ranked
Dude you don't know shit, they conquered Spain and all of Northern Africa and all the way to India and dramatically influenced the culture and religion and language of these lands (except Spain) to this day.
They even conquered the Persian Empire that even Rome could never get rid off and made them Muslim.

Before the Muslim conquest Northern Africa was actually part of the Roman/Christian culture zone, Saint Augustine for instance was from modern day Algeria and they spoke Latin, today they all speak Arabic and are Muslim which is the result of this conquest.

Even if you don't like the spread of Islam you can't deny that it was a huge influence on the region and basically made half of the Mediterranean hostile territory to Christians
