i just wanna have an anco thread. i love these guys, i wish i had a group of high school friends to make weird pop music with.
does anybody have any rare old interviews/live recordings of them?
also i met panda and hes the nicest dude ever

just get a bunch of pals together and screech in an autistic manner while banging on some pots and pans

OOOOOOOOOH THERE'LL BE TIME

Don't know if you consider this rare

Can never remember which is the first page

Sung Tongs is their best and I wish they (or anyone else) did more like it. Everything before it is boring and everything after it is too digital and samey

Yeah, but the way "swimming pool" in sung on Banshee Beat makes it like a 15/10 minimum.

TO JUST CRY

>Deak trying so hard to say Geo is the best at something

>geo being obligated to say something nice about deak at the end because nobody else did

Heads up that Sung Tongs vinyl is getting a repress. Out in September.

Already pre-ordered mine.

thanks deak

got you sempai

leave Painting With alone pls

Who else here really enjoyed the painters ep?

Better than Painting With and Monkey Been To Burn Town

>The Painters
>Meeting of the Waters
>Eucalyptus
>Panda mini-LP most likely out this year

2017 is turning out amazing for AnCo and thats without releasing an actual album

Best to worst:

Campfire Songs

Here Comes The Indian
Hollinndagain
Sung Tongs
Feels
Merriweather Post Pavilion
Centipede Hz
Strawberry Jam
Meeting of the Waters
Danse Manatee

Though I haven't listened to Danse too much desu
Meeting of the Waters is the only record in which Avey's voice is annoying

Sleep Cycle > Person Pitch > Enter The Slasher House > PBVSGR > rest

9/10 surprisingly solid and focused release desu

That's what I thought too.

Though it's definitely a "play the whole thing at once" album, you can't really pick out songs to put on a playlist.

It almost feels like the opposite of Down There. Down There is short, electronic and pop-y, why this one is long, organic and almost ambient.
