Never played a Warcraft or any serious computer game in any form.
About to watch this as a fantasy fan, what am I in for?

As someone who played Warcraft for only a little bit but went in with knowledge of the universe it was a fucking gorgeous treat in the theater.
I'll admit the human parts stuck out like sore thumbs but the ORCS are absolutely gorgeous and pure fantasy kino.
I really hate the inclusion of Dom Cooper (as much of a badass as he is) and Ruth Nigga, but ignore them and focus on the Orcs and you'll have a great time.
If you're not familiar with Warcraft at all, it's going to be weird, confusing and dumb to you in all likelihood.
Otherwise it's actually a fun, competently directed movie. I think it's the only "video game movie" that isn't completely retarded.
Lord of The Rings: Orcs Edition
Orcs stuff and the cgi is great
Human stuff is awful and the dialogue get insanely bad at times
cool fantasy magic rarely seen in moves
Sup Forums getting BTFO for the millionth time, that's what
A really really fun, really really flawed movie. Solid 6/10
I really loved it. Aside from unnecessary retconning my only complaint is that it's really, really obvious in battle scenes that the human soldiers didn't even have stand ins to work with and were told to just pretend fight thin air.
Idk but want to watch together user? I've been putting this movie off for too long now
>that the human soldiers didn't even have stand ins to work with
they did, actually
Never played the game but the movie is your standard fantasy fare: shitty dialogue, simple plot, obvious twist villain, shit shoehorned into the plot with little to no setup (probably for the fanboys), and a handful of perfectly fine performances steeped in reasonably well done special effects.
Solid 6.5/10 to pass the time to.
It's a fine flick
A great ride.
Great villain, humasn fall a bit short, but the fantasy of the orcs and them trying to find a home is great.
$0 mins have been cut but if you're not a retard and have a good IQ you'll know whats going on.
Keep staring at Jontron looking dude. He's awkward AF.
I enjoyed it, but I think it wouldn't make a whole lot of sense without playing the games.
Then again that didn't stop people masturbating over Civil War.
I don't get it. So, Krulgar reaches level 20 and gets his mount but then he has to collect 12 spicy bear flanks? This movie has some serious plot holes.
I said this the other day.
This film is laughably atrocious, literally some of the worst writing I've ever seen.
On the upside, aside from strongorcwomyn everything looks fuckin' cool as fuck, specifically some orc designs as well as magic effects. The fighting is a little lackluster and you can see how the tone of the film doesn't fit the acting of the characters.
Watch for based Gul'Dan
Gul'dan and Durotan are the best part of the movie. Orcs should've had more screentime than the humans.
I don't know if that makes it better or worse. Should have hired a a guy to give fight directions to the extras.
Deleted scenes/extras are out girls
>first adaptation of your fabled franchise...
>And you choose a storyline that isn't about Arthas
I know nothing about Warcraft and enjoyed it all except for some human actors are absolute shit.
I honestly didn't know how the movie was going to end after the Guldan fight. I'll go watch the sequel
Enough people already bitched about not knowing whats going on, how do you think non-warcraft fans would react to a movie that starts with Arthas?
