Radha Mitchell in her undies in the first 5 mins showing off her firm, tight little body says it's kino
Closest we've ever come to it tbqh. The ost music is top notch tho
Best vidya movie, but not quite kino.
Meant vidya kino
The main thing that it has is atmosphere, but for the most part it's the worst kind of video game shit plotwise, one long fetch quest. The characterizations at no point rise above that "on-rails" mentality. If you think it's a great piece of filmmaking at all you need to go back to Sup Forums.
I thought it was going to be much worse to be honest.
The plot could have been better, but they nailed the atmosphere and monster.
>face is a rotten peach pit
>body is normal, scantily-dressed woman with DD breasts with slightly darker, CGI veins
Who thought this was interesting creature design? Holy fuck.
Shit taste.
Samefag.
Some 20 year old gook virgin most likely.
In the games they are supposed to be manifestations of the protagonist's sexual frustration and anxiety.
In the movie they are there just because they're cool, I guess.
This is what bothered me about Pyramid head the most.
I disregard the second one entirely, however when it comes to the horror genre and vidya movies in general, it's among the best. Great film.
I like the premise they gave that the town still had survivors and they were quite litterateur barricading themselves by night.
first hour was
Uh, that depends.
In Silent Hill 1 and 3 it was because Alessa hated nurses. In Silent Hill 2 it was because James was sexually deprived.
Considering that Silent Hill (the movie) is all about Alessa...
I really enjoyed it when I first saw it, tried to rewatch it recently and shut it off tho
Well, yeah, but in 1 and 3 the nurses aren't sexy semen demons.
one 10second cutscene in the first game is better than the entire film
Is he box office poison?
Cute!
I haven't seen it but I practically study the games religiously. Would you guys recommend it?
Also if anyone has lore questions I'm happy to answer.
Here are download links, all safe I've used them myself many times:
SH1 NTSC DDL:
mega.nz
SH2 DDL:

SH3 DDL:

SH4 DDL:

And in case someone's once again new to this PC gaming stuff: Use a program like PowerIso to mount the ISOs of 2 & 3, and then run their installers like always.
The SH1 is a PS1 rip that you gotta emulate.
The "sh2proxy" fix works as a no-cd crack as well, and is included in the pack.
In case you experience issues saving the game / not being able to edit the disp.ini, make sure the files aren't set to "Read Only", and run the game as Administrator.
If SH2 gets stuck in a black screen upon launch, close it and re-start it again.
it will either frustrate or intrigue you. It has some lore that is different from the games
objectively true
It's decent, take it not as an adaptation but as some other story sharing a somewhat similar setting. Main reason I watched it at theaters was because of that sweet Yamaoka soundtrack.
it's decent
Gave me a fetish for zombie demon nurses
I'm pretty sure she has done full frontal nudity but I don't remember the movie. Feast of Love perhaps?
Why didn't they try to take on 2? It's the best of the series.
>If SH2 gets stuck in a black screen upon launch, close it and re-start it again.
SH2 doesn't like multi-core processors iirc
You're right, but all the downloads have all the necessary fixes including SH2 proxy which automatically sets affinity to one core.
Lore question number 1:
what's the deal with pyramid head?
Is he a bad guy? A protector? A reflection of the protagonists self loathing?
>That animation quality
>1999
How do the Nips do it?
Good question with a few answers:
Pyramid Head is the embodiment of a demon of the town named Valtiel. Valtiel is a helper demon who's goal is to help the cult get the God of the cult reborn. However, he manifests in different ways and with different functions depending on the person who enters the town. Although he is a protector when in other forms, for James he is actually a tormentor, put there to punish him but also reflect him. He is the reflection of James's repressed sexual urges which he could not act on while Mary was sick. James feels guilty because one of the contributing reasons towards him killing his wife was his sexual frustrations, and thus he needs Pyramid Head to punish him. However, once he has come clean with himself and fully accepted that he killed Mary, the dual Pyramid Heads kill themselves, as he has no more need for them, depending on the ending you get/how you play, this is for several different reasons. It's worth noting that there are two Pyramid Heads at the end of the game because they represent how many people James has killed- first Mary, then Eddie.
A manifistation of James and his desire to be punished
>is he a big guy? A Plan Matterer? A reflection of wondering what would break first...your spirit or your body?
>once he has come clean with himself and fully accepted that he killed Mary, the dual Pyramid Heads kill themselves, as he has no more need for them
They do an awful job at portraying this in the film. They make it seem that they kill themselves because you defeated them in battle.
You might want to rethink your life dipshit
