Fuck no. Went to see Don't Breathe a couple nights ago, and it was garbage. Every once in a while I'll fall for the hype. I usually don't let it happen too often.

I didn't really care for the original. Too similar to The Last Broadcast. It's not as innovative as people think. It's like some people thinking Psycho or Halloween was the first slasher movie.

I think they should have showed the witch. I know they were going to, but Heather accidentally didn't show it. The witch chasing them around like a Scooby Doo villain would've been lame, yeah, but I still wanted to see the bitch. I hate horror movies that make you think of the horror. I'd rather actually see it.

I remember kinda' enjoying Blair Witch 2.

It was a little hammy, but it took balls to deviate from the found-footage style of filming and some of the scares were alright.

I saw it on Monday at a free student screening, thought it was great. I don't want to go into spoilers but it scared me at the time, and it's had me jumping at shadows for the past two nights. It is less ambiguous but I feel like it would be pointless trying to emulate the "this could be real" aspect of the first, it'd be too hard to repeat what could be done in 1999.

People will love complaining about it though, so get ready for heated threads.

Blair witch two is trash. You should like it because it fooled a lot of people into thinking it was real at the time and had a pretty successful marketing run. You might not like the horror approach but the atmosphere is creates and the feeling of isolation in the woods and the fear of the unknown mixed with the little kids laughing in the dark is pretty spooky booky my Nig
