These are from "One man's wilderness" about a 50 year old man who went out to build a cabin in Alaska and lived there for 30 years and he filmed it.

...

...

...

...

...

...

I think it's actually "Alone in the Wilderness"

...

oh god plz don't post bosch's dtr

Correct. Its on youtube and the guy's name is Dick Proenneke. I'm learning more about earthbag-based construction and may one day follow in his footsteps

>One man's wilderness
You are right,

The book is One man's wilderness, the movie is "Alone in the wilderness"

Thanks for catching that.

Totally kino

>bosch's dtr
dtr?

The full version not on youtube (at least when I checked) as the full version is a 57 minutes long.

daughter

Ahh, Daughter?

here you go

...

/out/ thanks you. sorry, nothing Sup Forums to contribute, but here's a gem from Sup Forums

...

What was his background before he went to the Alaska? It seems impossible to follow hist footsteps without being some kind of an engineer.

...

It's funny what a great movie this is for such a not-so-great movie.

Haa...

I guess I will post more.

Both Hellboy movies are bad and amazing at the same time.

...

...

>anons whining that their waifu didn't land a role in something
when will this meem die

...

kek I love how it kept going, most webms would just end it as soon as they landed in the cup

carpenter and diesel mechanic. He decided to go do it after diesel or oil spilled on his face and he thought he was going to go blind. So he sold his stuff, and built a cabin, and lived off his navy pension and savings for 30 years.

He did have supplies flown in now and then to replenish what he had.

who complaining in this thread about that?

...

...

I have more, but enough for one thread.

...

...

...

fuck, i'm really starting to regret not naming these as i save them. oh well. here's an /an/ that never fails to amuse me.

shit, forgot weebum.

>lived off his navy pension and savings for 30 years.

>things that are impossible in the modern world

...

Well he did live simply.
Lived in a state with no income or property tax
had about 1,000 dollars (say, 3,000 dollars) worth of beans and potatoes shipped to him.
Lived in a small (12x14 foot IIRc) gravel floor cabin.

still, he lived a hell of a great life.

here one for you in return.

No webm thread is complete without Steven Seagal.

...

how can the punani resist such an alpha specimen

...

>who complaining in this thread about that?
I'll tell you what I just came from the celebm thread on /gif/ and if I here one more "why didn't they cast X in GitS", I'm gonna plotz

Now speaking of waifus: any Estella Warren fans here

...

>(say, 3,000 dollars)

What year? 50's?

...

Night all, baby is asleep now. so time for me to get some sleep too while I can.

...

68-98, and he was spending about 1,000 in food. Less in the 60s. so i would say 3,000 today if it was 1,000 in 95 or so.

Sorry if I am not making sense, I need sleep.

...

...

...

...

Who makes the shoes for the stupid giant robot?

>ywn build a comfy shitposting cabin in Alaska

It's the only movie you'll see where the original Wonder Woman takes a good dicking from a cowboy
