Name ONE (1) (uno) musician who does this.
>Right wing rap
>caring about a musician's political opinions
I don't as long as they don't put them in their music
this.
as long as he's not natsoc or making overtly political music i don't care
>national socialist musician
>doesn't mention it in their music
And why would you care if he's natsoc?
>making music in any other language other than english
Its like they dont want to be successful
Wagner, Haydn and Stravinsky all were "right-wing", but according to America's current political notions, they're "centrists".
me, Sufjan Stevens, pre-Reflektor Arcade Fire, Beach House
>everything that isn't communism is right wing
Left and right is a shitty dichotomy anyways because it links aspects of political philosophy that are independent.
>Arcade Fire
LOL
what about that one song where he literally bitches about the US then says "I don't want to live in america no more"
oh shit I totally forgot about that.
scratch that
>musician is known for making music with left-wing themes as a young man
>ends up becoming right-wing as he gets older
>that time Jan Berry poops out this stupid song, then gets in a car accident
>artist makes song from controversial political viewpoint
>"dude they were just being ironic"
Douglas Pearce of dij is right wing libertarian. At least in the 90s he was, idk where he stands at now.
For some reason I feel like this happened to Lou Reed, but i base that on basically nothing.
>mfw I'm libertarian and my favorite band is left-wing
Life is suffering.
lol why? Do you problems with their morals or ethics?
Douglas Pearce probably isn't a fullblown Nazi, but he definitely has some sort of fetish about it, like when he starred in that gay porn with a quote "Ernst Rohm lookalike." You're right that he's definitely far from the Trotskyist he was in his Crisis days though.
no you're thinking of Dave Mustaine.
Uncle Lou....never really got that political. He was pretty centrist for much of his career.
Lou was definitely left-wing from the few times he expressed his political beliefs, but I think he enjoyed being an IRL troll more than having genuine political discussion.
I always imagine Bowie being a closet Conservative for some reason. Not a Republican type of Conservative, but more in line with British values of Conservatism.
Def a fetishistic thing about it. Also I think the occultism in the nazi party was a big reason nazism and the holocaust might of been used a lot in the earlier aesthetics i.e. Black Sun
This.
This and morrissey def is more in line with the right wing, especially with immigration.
This here.
If it's shoved in my face, it's a problem.
Other than that, I really don't care.
