The Ramones' only major UK hit single was their cover of Baby I Love You, reaching number 8 in the charts.

The Ramones got their name from Paul McCartney's usage of the name "Paulie Ramone" as a pseudonym for when he booked hotels.
Cannibal Corpse often has to release two different covers for each of their albums; one uncensored version and an alternative, censored cover for certain countries in Europe and Asia.
53rd And 3rd is about Dee Dee's brief stint as a male prostitute
The original vinyl version of this has two extra songs, one of which has never reappeared anywhere else.
Nobody knows who the lead singer of The Residents is
His Number One hit was his wife.
Nobody knows any of the members of The Residents but them
10/10
Isn't this true for the whole band (excluding their later stuff)?
I was always under the impression that there never was any concrete members
Technically, but it's almost certainly Homer Flynn.
4% of England's population attempted to get tickets for Oasis' 1996 concert at Knebworth House
Hardy Fox is Charles Bobuck
Just read album promos from places such as Klanggalerie
Plus his website is for both himself "as well" as Charles Bobuck
hardyfox.com
He left The Residents last year and I believe he was replaced by Eric Drew Feldman
It's assumed that John Kennedy and Jay Clem were the other original two members. If you're interested you can compare their voices to the other voice (not Homer's/Randy's) from their early albums like Meet the Residents, Not Available, and Third Reich and Roll
Yeah that's how it was after the early 80s, but Homer has always been the primary lyricist and Hardy Fox has always been the primary composer
Are you trying to make a joke? Or do you really think that the Sex Pistols and the Ramones are the same band?
damn...
Dee Dee wrote "Chinese Rocks" but Johnny Thunders recorded it first. When the Ramones did their version, many people mistakenly believed they were doing a Heartbreakers cover
Bump
Was that before or after he as shot
Both. The whole anonimity shtick the Residents had was to hide the fact that Kennedy was involved, because it was the only way he could make that sort of music without it staining him in the public eye. The "assassination" was orchestrated when suspicion was arising that he was a member, but he didn't really die.
True Rock History: The title “No Pussyfooting” comes from the fact that both Fripp and Eno were sleeping with the same girl, who was John Cale’s then-wife and also the producer of this album (uncredited, as per her own request). When Eno found out that Fripp had been giving said producer intense, screaming orgasms with his feet, Eno lost his shit. He had been trying to foot fuck this girl for months now but his feet were too wide. No amount of lube and nor any of the known Oblique Strategies did the trick. Even Eno’s exhaustive list of unknown and lesser known Oblique Strategies were no help. He foot simply did not fit. They were in the middle of making the album, and it really bother Eno. "Frippy was cheating. Making use of a totally unfair physical advantage. This sort of thing is precisely why boxers box in their own weight class. Robert Fripp is not a man and should be ashamed of himself" (Brian Eno to the NME, 1972) The working relationship became strained but both men were passionately enthusiastic about the new LP they’d been working on, which was still a ways from completion at that point. So the rule was instituted for the sake of sonic exploration: "Absolutely No Pussyfooting. EVER.“ Historians debate whether Fripp actually fully abandoned this technique during the remainder of the sessions, but his acquiescence to Eno on the subject forged a lasting working relationship that remains powerfully fertile to this day.
The first time this album was played to the public was on the John Peel show where it was played backwards because they loaded the tape machine the wrong way. Eno was the only listener to notice and had to ring in to the BBC to ask them to change it.
Also, on the note of hookers turned musicians, Pete Doherty was a rent boy before The Libertines formed.
Whoa....
