Yes.
sjw cuckoldry
The last episodes were a letdown, overall very good miniserie.
Who leaked the footage of the Indian lawyer kissing him? If so, why didn't leak the footage of her smuggling drugs to him?
I really enjoyed the portrayal of whites and jews as evil and muslims as hard working, honest Americans by a series set in New York that itself references post-9/11 reality
But don't worry, we'll never forget
Omar did. You didn't see the guard slip him the DVD?
don't forget about the nice and honest black people, kys retard
I'm not from USA so I gotta ask. Why is there so many black women as police officer?
disappointing finale. seems the showrunners stuck with the message they wanted to deliver via this series instead of switching it up and letting the narrative take over. if i were to do it differently, i'd have found Naz guilty and then shown in the penultimate scene, that he actually did murder her. only for Omar to hand over the recording of the lawyer kissing Naz to Turturro as an epilogue. season 2 will deal with the appeal, Naz's civil trial, where more evidence comes out that he indeed murdered the woman, and his increasingly violent behavior now outside of prison working for Omar. just my two cents.
i think there was only one in the show. what do you mean by many? there was a black security guard at the prison. that's different. plus, it's New York. larger black population there than, say, Wisconsin.
having said all that, yes, i did like the show. i simply found the final episode underwhelming. plus, there were too many red herrings for my liking. i do hope the series continues, as i think it was only pitched for one season. the cop, lawyer, and prosecutor dynamic was very strong. i'd love to see those three tackle another hard case. maybe a new one involving the stepfather somehow?
When he went to go sit at the same place he did with her when he took the pill she gave him thought they were gonna show him suddenly remembering that, in a drug induced craze, he did kill her.
yawp
bump b/c it's been a while this show has been discussed on Sup Forums.
meh. it was alright. a lot of the prison stuff seemed like filler though.
kind of glad it didn't end in some happy way and nas ended up with a heroin addiction
TVkino
it's a miniseries you goddamn retard, there is no season 2
this is why you don't write shit
how is anything that happened in the prison considered filler? everything that occurred in Rikers either built up the dynamic between principle characters or revealed aspects of Nas that weren't previously shown.
apart from the massive copout at the end it was alright i guess
Is this the show about that 'innocent' murder/terrorist?
>there is no season 2
You mean season 4, no?
the show is based on Criminal Justice, a BBC series that ran 2 seasons. HBO can easily make room for another season with or without Price and Zaillan.
as for my writing credentials, you'd be surprised.

Seemed like it didn't know what it wanted to be. Half the season was Omar becoming prison boss, other half was a mystery.
