This is better and more influential than anything in Autechre or BOC's combined discographies. It came out in 1994, motherfuckers.

How does it feel that neither of them have made anything as good as #9
>ambient in the vein of late 70s shit
>better or influential at all
yeah nah
If you've never listened to Cluster or Tangerine Dream or Klaus Schulze or Brian Eno then I guess I can see how you would think that.
what has saw 2 influenced?
Brian Eno is boring and it's literally better than his stuff. Other later, better artists include Andrew Chalk and Vishudha Kali.
>aphex twin
care to elaborate on what makes brian eno boring but andrew chalk not?
Post some late 70s shit that sounds like SAW 2, I'm actually interested.
Autechre are the best tho
What's your favourite Aphex Twin song? Mine is Outside Kickass Violin Solo.
>aphex twin
>influential
>calling aphex twin influential
Is that Half Life 3
Listen to some of Klaus Schulze's stuff from that time period. Not his earliest early 70s stuff that's more experimental, but later on it's more ambient.
BoC only has a few ambient tracks so that's a useless comparison. Also Over The Horizon Radar is a better track than anything on SAW II
>aphex twin
Here's your (you)
Not a big fan of Schulze desu, only thing I like is that "for barry graves" live video
spamming fedoras isn't a substitute for an actual point
>implying aphex twin was ever influential
careful not to fall for this bait, fellow aphexians
>muh aphex twin is the best! intelligent dance music! it's intelligent!!!
...
Didn't Thom Yorke say a few times that he was influenced a lot by Ae?
>have you been at aphex's latest gig guyse
