Finland and the Baltic countries

Is it true that most Finns on here says that Finland is a Baltic country not nordic and that Finns on here prefer the Baltics and prefer being called Baltic?

No. Nordic wasn't a cultural term before WW2, but was an ethnonym that referred to North Germanics exclusively. Its official definition was changed as part of the European integration policy to include Finland, however its connotation remained. Everybody thinks of Scandinavia when they think of the word "Nordic". And that's no coincidence; Norse (Northman) is the word's origin. It was a term Finns never used as a self-designation, and any Finn who isn't a brainwashed moron still doesn't.
