Is he immune from AIDS?

Is he immune from AIDS?

Yes but he’s not immune to dubs.

Yes, but he is a carrier and gives everybody else AIDS.

You want an honest answer? Yes

Most mammals are immune from the HIV virus, nevermind most animals. Superman is an alien. he doesnt have DNA like us. He shares no ancestry so there is zero chance of him falling to an earth evolved virus becuase viruses attack cell phenotypes which are specific to the animal.

I wish this board was immune to cancer and retards.

>wanting Sup Forums to be immune to cancer and retards.

Look at this faggot
Look at him and laugh.

Anally
Injected
Death
Serum?

Don't know
If James Bond isn't dead from decades of sex, he should be fine.

But if kryptonite can make him weak enough to be harmed the same ways a human can be harmed, couldn't it be used to make him weak enough to infect him with a virus like HIV or something worse?

AIDS comes from HIV. HIV is
>Human Immunodeficiency Virus
The name is a clue. It is only dangerous for humans (animals aren't affected either). Superman is not human, so he does not have to care,

Cats get aids

that is feline aids, that's quite different (except the effects of course). It's a different virus too. And superman is not a cat either.

Space aids

Superman bleeds. Whether he is human or not does not mean his blood is immune from infection.

Regular aids yes, but space aids...

Spaids?

that depends on what kryptonian backstory you're following. Is it where krypton developed independently from earth? or one where earth was an old kryptonian outpost? another question is whether he has any bacteria at all, if his radioactive immune system burns it all out, or if it just floats around and fails to damage his cells. even if he werent immune, would he actually display symptoms? since his strength/healing factor could prevent that from ever developing?
I'm sure we'll get some pandering sjw muslim-trans-AIDS-superman comic coming out in a couple years anyway so you'll get to find out.

In a word no.
You can use Kryptonite to weaken a Kryptonian living on Earth and imbued with God like powers, thus rendering them susceptible to infection.

You would however need to keep a piece of Kryptonite close to the Kryptonian for HIV to take its course and develop into AIDS.

If at any point before death, the Kryptonite is taken away from the Kryptonian, they will make a full recovery and be a super powered humanoid once more.

As the product of an alien evolutionary process, even if he has DNA, the HIV virus is human specific, dude is as immune to HIV as a lump of rock is. Do you even know how viruses work?
You are retarded, viral infection is not bacterial infection. Even bacteria have evolved to take advantage of earth based life's biochemical processes. The enzymes they produce to break down organic material are specialized to recognize and react to specific protien chains that non-earth evolved life forms may not even utilize. Superman is, in all likelihood immune to all terrestrial disease.

What a retard, look you obviously never saw Superman IV Quest for Peace, when Superman was attacked and severely weakened by Nuclear Man, Superman (Kal-el) contracted the common cold and was very ill.

Please be a fuck head some place else.

The fact that he's not human would make him extremely vulnerable to human sickness if you made him weak enough. Technically if he became infected with a common cold it would kill him because, as so many have pointed out, he's not human and therefore would not have the biological ability to fight the cold.

Superman 4 is non-canon.

plot twist - Lex Luthor went bald trying to engineer KIV

So then why did a cold almost kill him in superman 4?

So is every other superman movie ever made. Superman as he is now is not what superman started as.

This would be true if superman was human. Viruses are species specific and the ability for a virus to mutate and cross species relies mainly on those species having roughly the same genetic material to work from. Even if superman has DNA it is the result of a vastly different evolutionary genesis. Terrestrial viruses wouldn't even recognize it as an organism. It would be like trying to get HIV to infect a pine tree.

Very lazy screenwriting. That movie was one giant plot hole.

but then again, he's able to mate with Lois, and some storylines suggest krytonians and humans sharing a distant ancestor.

Tell me 1 superman movie that didn't have a tremendous plot hole in it.

Then you are saying he can be infected

Yes but not superaids tho

Yes but wut about space aids?

Yes, I was emphatically trying to convey the message that he could be infected and die of AIDS.

Put a kryptonite gag ball in his mouth and have a gay guy with AIDS have his way with him?
