Consider heavily psychological treatment, or otherwise consider suicide.

This looks very nice desu. Do you have any restaurant recommendations in Rio, SP or The South?
...
Brazillian steakhouses are popular in the US (fogo de chao, etc)
Are they common in Brazil?
This is it, the quintessential brazilian meal.
Except for the lack of fried egg and farofa...
uma delicia...
Moqueca is mainly typical from Bahia and Espírito Santo states. Even there are a difference between moquecas did in these states. In Bahia, it's used coconut milk for moqueca cooking, but doesn't in Espírito Santo.
Yes, but they're for posh upper class people.
I know it comes from Bahia, but I'm only travelling to the South and South East. I know you can try it in Rio.
...
Any BR anons ever try this?
Fucking cheese in excessive quantities on top of everything. THe cousin is mostly rich and gros
You can find some specialized restaurants in São Paulo who offer moqueca, but in southern states, I dunno
Man this one is so great. Brazilian cuisine is really GOAT in South America.

I was in Praia Da Pipa and went to the nr. 1 restaurant on Tripadvisor.
It was just gooey and cheesy. Absolutely horrible.
The best food was the european/asian inspired cousine
...
Aracaju, Sergipe
At least Brazil has its own cuisine and doesn't rip off European cuisines and pawn it off as its own
>dislikes cheese
What the fuck is wrong with you.
...
Very common, at least in the southeast and south. Most of them are all-you-can-eat, there's a buffet with salads/side dishes/desserts and the servers go around offering various cuts of meat.
Are the brazilian steakhouses in the USA good?
...
Ainda hoje comi disso. Muito bom.
Adoro estes, também.
Here too. We have tons of Rodízios and a lot of Brazilian menus in otherwise Portuguese-themed restaurants.
Which is freaking odd, because we have no Spanish dishes anywhere. I guess culinary, being a home-reminding thing, follows family closer than geography.
Brazilian Food is honestly great.
They're good but just a bit pricey. I live in California though and we honestly don't have that many Brazilians
That's actually ours, but I hear they are fairly popular in Brazil. They are the thinking man's snack, desu.
...
I would think more stuff there would be influenced by Italy
Yeah, these days people only eat pizza.
There is polenta.
What consistency does this have when you drink it? It seemed creamy when I saw it but I'm not sure.
not sure if this one is italian or german influenced
Torresmo
It's German.

It seems to me that Brazilian food's biggest draw is Portuguese (as you'd expect), but it largely became a thing of it's own - a lot more than American did, since you guys mostly collected European recipes and modified them a bit.
It helps that Brazil's fauna/flora is a lot more plentiful than America's.

.
It's like tea. You drink it through a "bomba" that filters the particles.
That looks like gnocchi
it is, we call it "nhoque".
...
Everything they make is portuguese based
Some of it is African too. The slaves made their food with local stuff.
...
What is this?
Italian influence is mostly in São Paulo. Brazilian food is very regional.
>Some of it is African too. The slaves made their food with local stuff
like macacos?
Yes, Argentines.
Uma delicia...

99% of "Brazilian cuisine" is rip off of some place
...
Hell no. Brazilian cuisine is a mix of literally everything. From the europeans and asians immigrants, from the portuguese settlers, from the natives, from the african slaves
...
uma delicia....
hows this different from bocadillo? lmao
I always see Brigidaeiros when Brazilian food is mentioned but what's inside them? Can it just be whatever or do they have to have something special?
What are these two?
This.
This thing is good. I made mine filled with shredded chicken breast, oregano, onions and cheese.
It's goiabada, a sweet did with guavas
Uma delícia...
