So for everyone out there who believes in God (all religions who believe in a master God are welcome)...

So for everyone out there who believes in God (all religions who believe in a master God are welcome), where did He come from?

My guess is this. If you throw a pack of cards on the floor, there is a chance, an incredibly minute chance, that they will all land on their edge and stay that way. In that way, God simply formed from chaos because the right things came together at the right time.

Input please!

bamply bamp

Thats a really stupid theory OP

Then come up with a better one.

then who tf created the cards

I wouldn't even know where to start, there are better theories in books and online though.

The cards are a metaphor. They represent random shit and events out in space.

You're right, man. It's daunting.

Like the idea that God is eternal and uncreated.

Not to be a dick, but try to define eternal and uncreated.

Eternal, meaning having always existed.
Uncreated meaning never having been created.

>The cards are a metaphor
no shit sherlock

I hope you retards understand that OP's example is an alegory of the big bang. This is a troll thread.

No wonder it sounds so stupid.

He always existed

Long story short:

>because while the brain is just a group of cells floating in a calcium bowel
>i believe a soul dictates how the brain behaves, a broken or damaged soul will lead to chemical imbalance, an old soul will lead to a person being great and kind, a new soul is learning
>everything with a brain has a soul
>so single cell organisms don't have souls or things like trees
>but bugs and spiders have souls
>ut not like larger animals
>souls have size limits you cannot go too small or too big but a soul can get stuck in another species (however rare)

What else do you want to know? Want me to explain anything better or in more details? I'm trying to give a broad answer here to just give a better idea on what I believe.

Every person's reality is correct for them. If you think there is a heaven and a hell, there is for you. If you think there is nothing after you die, then there is oblivion for you. Except if you're muslim. When you die there is just goats as far as the eye can see.

but they are virgin goats

>my master gods parents had sex
>god was born
>killed his father
>became master god himself

first of all for you to understand who the real god is you need to stop believing that god is a human or that he has a human flesh.

Oh neat, you have proof of a god that isn't faith based?

I'm just gonna leave this here

who do you think made the galaxy

It's not a who, it's a what.
The big bang made our galaxy and the rest of universe as well.
What caused the big bang is unknown though, if you claim it was a god, I'd like to see some proof.

well that what is our god and it will never reveal itself especially to people who have doubts.

>This is how our universe works and the fact that I can't prove it, proves it.
Well that is certainly convenient user, it's almost as if you want to centralize power with a specific group without explaining why it would be beneficial.

the big bang did not create anything nor does it explain creation itself, mongolian
everything that exists existed before the big bang as a singularity during the planck era, the creation of energy precedes the planck era and thus the big bang, mongolian

I believe in God, the Christian God.

If you believe he is "God" then it's quite obvious. He exists outside of time and space, something we physically cannot understand. He never "created", he just always was. He created time, and we exist inside of time, so we can understand anything else.
The reason I believe in religion and not anything other is because, it would take a godly figure to create time. The universe couldn't spontaneously do it, it is physically impossible. And you'd be stuck constantly asked what came before and before that and so on.

well you cant prove it either so youre no more different then me other then denying beliefs.

it has nothing to do with power you ass .

I'm Danish actually, but I might have some Genghis Khan ancestry if that helps.
I don't make a habit of asserting things that can't be proven though. There is evidence of the big bang, but none of a god.

But I should listen to your flavor of men in funny hats telling me what a god we can't detect or even understand, wants of me?
If it is not about power, what is your interest in what I believe or not believe about the origin of us and our universe?

god isnt real kys

well I believe God always existed actually but before creation everything was formless including God, there was only spirit. There are two aspects which came out of this, male and female but I think they both came from the same source in the end. The Egyptians had a good description of creation in my opinion.

God is all, He is beyond time and space and exceedingly further than human comprehension, he was all before there was any and nothing. The very word Universe means "One Spoken Sentence" God is said to have spoken all of creation into existence. He created the laws of time, space, matter for heaven, hell and beyond.

Nobody really knows for sure
I personally believe he's the "admin" of this "simulation" we know as reality

If that makes any sense

god doesnt have a religion of choice if you think about it actually

but the big bang doesnt just happen because someone drew it on a board and thats the purpose of god regardless of what it is.

So I just have to believe any religion in order to be in his good graces?
But so many of them contradict each other and if they're all equally valid, none of them are valid.

the roads lead to rome fran

Calcium is a trace element, dipshit.

they didnt have cards at that time nigger. try harder

>itt puny humans trying to understand the concept of a deity

Just like infinity or nothingness the human mind can't comprehend god

You're contradicting yourself, at least to my understanding of what you are saying.
You're saying it didn't just happen because someone drew it on a board and then claim that a god is the one to draw it.

maybe god has no heaven we dont really no after all diffrent religions believe different things happen in the after life.

What I don't get is why I should listen to anyone who claims to know what a god wants and what the afterlife is without actually meeting him or going there themselves.
If we have no chance of determining these things while we are alive, why should I listen to anyone alive who claims to know?

no im saying there has to be a source to the big bang and that source would be considered our god

You really wanna tell me that its impossible for a being that created us and all of creation is easily provable if he didn't want to reveal himself in a certain way? Do you really expect a computer program you make to understand your nature and way your brain works? Why on earth do you think us lowly creatures confines by space and time can possibly hope to understand why or how God, who is beyond creation entirely existed always? If an omnipotent being doesn't want you to find him, trust me you won't no matter how hard you try and in turn this makes you come up with your own theories to fill in the blanks even though its more that meets eye.

But who created the "space" god is in? I don't think that our brains can comprehend things at that kind of a level yet.

I believe miracles can only happen when they are not being recorded. I think this is also why a world entirely under surveillance is what the NWO has in store for us.

Think of quantum physics. If you haven't heard of the slit experiment, I recommend checking it out.
When not under observation, particles don't abide by the laws of physics as we understand them. Though there are 2 (or more) slits, and the particles should only be able to pass through those slits, they go wherever they damn well please. Only when a camera is placed to record what is happening, do the particles start going only through the slits.

I think a miracle is only possible if your eyes are the only thing to see what is happening. If you're constantly surrounded by your phone, your laptop's built in camera, any visual or audio recording device (even if it is not in use), you will NEVER see a miracle.

If you want proof of God, go to the deepest part of nature without any technology and look at the night sky. You'll feel him with you, surrounding you, above you, and inside your heart.

God does not live in the sky, he resides in a dimension far surpassing the dimension we all live in. Look up 4th and 5th dimensional shapes and see how incredible they are, and how impossible it is for you to truly understand how they work and how they are. They are constantly many different shapes and sizes at the same time. It's like quantum physics on a grander scale. Then understand that God is many, many dimensions above the 4th and 5th.

there were 2 gay parents who faked their asses. someday some shit came out called god

I can go as far as agreeing on the notion of there being a cause/source of the big bang.
Jumping to the conclusion that this cause/source is a god seems insensible to me.

The universe is a time loop. At some point in the future, a single conscious being encapsulates the entire universe into his sentience via quantun entanglement, gets lonely when it can no longer spy on lesser beings because of heat death, uses its control of matter to calculate the universe back to the beginning of time and reversen the trajectory of every little bit of energy in the universe, effectively reversing time and the universe back to the starting conditions but killing itself in the process.

Each iteration of the universe is slightly different as this end-game consciousness makes minute changes to calculate better outcomes for both itself and everyone who inhabits it (it being both the consciousness and the universe together, as sentience lies in energy and quantum entanglement). This is what makes the multiverse.

Fun fact: Jesus represents any and all sentient creatures, and their inherent desire to benefit the universe -- benefiting both themselves and all others. God represents the end-game consciousness that resets the universe and puts changes into effect to benefit its inhabitants. The holy spirit represents the collective consciousness and the laws of physics that allow it to exist and permeate the barriers between iterations of the universe.

Congrats OP. Enjoy this tasty redpill.

This subject is so complex and to talk about it on a porn board is futile af bruh.

You won't get any answers here that you wouldn't - or couldn't have thought of yourself so if you're really keen to learn about the universe you should just study until you've constructed a solid theorem.

And then you can die peacefully

then dont listen to anyone who says things about what created you but remember that doesnt give it a okay to go around and do bad deeds.

Simple. God didn't occupy in space before he created it. He by nature is, spaceless and timeless. He is a spirit and not bound by the laws of the universe like we are

I don't feel any compulsion to do bad deeds though, I have empathy.
Being moral and ethical does not have to be connected with being religious.

if it created me why not have some sort of liking for that source.

>Trying so hard to delude not only himself but others into believing Such a thing

My my my, you need a reality check

good you shouldnt have moral feelings because of a religion, again god has no religion.

I think god just made the universe to see nigger babies dying

Don't get me wrong, I like existing and having this chance to live.
I just don't mind being here by chance, in fact that makes me feel luckier than if some god decided to make me, because if things were slightly different I wouldn't be here talking to you.
I think we have morals and ethics because we evolved as a species that used our brains and cooperation to survive.

That's one of the reasons why I just declare myself ignorant when discussing religion, I can't not prove that there is no god, and I also can't prove that there is a god.

yea we used our heads and our conscious which was all created in a cycle that ends back to the big bang

You keep putting created into your sentences, we don't know that though. I would have chosen the word formed.

both words are synonyms to one another i should remind you.

I disagree, if I were to say stalagmites form due to running water with minerals in it, it implies a cause and effect based on how physics work, if I said it was created by mineral rich water I would be implying the water had a plan in doing this.

>God simply formed from chaos because the right things came together at the right time.

And why cant we say this "chaos" caused the big bang? Why would you insert "god" in there when it has so much extra baggage, my guess is you are just hellbent in this god idea and cant let it go.

i can agree on the fact that god isnt a he or a she.

Like op said

God is clever thought out of humans so they behave the way they should. They really needed people to be scared of committing crimes so they invented jesus and god. And when you'd tell your sins (like murder) they would get revenge, and say jesus made it happen. (Talking about the old times not the modern days)

What do you base that on and do you have proof that other people don't?
If so, please share, we've been killing each other over this for millennia. It would be nice to finally put this argument to rest.

i call it common sense no human can make a big bang and i doubt some random animal is going to do it.

What do you believe in? What authority do you havr to claim my assertions as delusions?

So because we aren't all-powerful beings capable of creating our own universes, there must be one entity who is and did?
Humans and animals didn't exist before way after the big bang, saying that they couldn't cause a big bang does nothing to prove that it couldn't happen because of how physic worked before the big bang.

Define your terms, please. Otherwise the usual cacophony will ensue, rather than a meaningful discussion, I fear.

What if you think there is nothing after but wish there is?

That's not how it works. You made the claim, you have to prove it.

No human can make Jupiter so therefore Jupiter doesn't exist.

if god formed out of chance, then he wouldn't be god

god is an intelligent and philisophical idea that forms the society we all live in. If you aren't studying it with the right perspective then you are cucking yourself with chaos.

Yeah what he said, you should cucking yourself to whatever this guy is selling, not chaos.

I don't sell anything, I just study the great masters of philosophy to help others understand the universe they are living in.

The way I see it, you can say that about anything.
Where did the universe come from?
Where did the big bang come from?
Where did that ball of 'infinite mass and infinite density' that started the big bang come from? There has to be some end point, something must have created everything. Some people think that point is god, some people believe it's the ball of mass that started the big bang. Doesn't affect us really. I'm happy just being a theist.

Are these philosophers scientifically minded or do you prefer the religious flavor?

this is relatively close to the truth

Why does God have to exist tho?
Human, like any other animal, fear what they don't know/understand. The creation of God in history was a mechanism to us feel like we are not alone in the universe. That we came from someone/thing and He/It still care for us. This is why the ancient civilizations worship the stars, planets and the sun.
Fast foward for today we still don't have an answer about how it all started, and it still scare us. What if there's a god? What if there isn't? What if were destined to never know? It's all faith in vain? What is the purpose of life itself?
In the end of the day, we're all trying to comfort ourselves when death comes by.

science (rationalism) is good but has historically lead to liberalism which is destroying western culture because it doesn't provide a moral foundation to stand on.

I personally combine rational thinking with idealist values and stay away from religion.

me, being a theist, say that god is just the name we give to our hope for the best and finding explanations for the good and bad, God is fear. Fear of Ourselves.

Check out Joseph Cambell and Carl Jung for instance

Both rational scientifically minded with knowledge in mythology.

I've seen rational explanations on why you should be moral though.
Game theory works with it in the tit for tat experiment.
You basically get what you give and since very few people want to be brutally murdered or raped, they'll refrain from doing so to others.
Don't get me wrong, mythology is a great way to gain an insight in how people thought about and ordered their worlds in the past, but I see no proof of actual gods in it.

White people so easy to give up on God. Sad.

I don't want to convince you that god exists, I am agnostic theist. That would be your personal choice. You are on the right track with doing unto others as you would have them do to you. Study the 10 commandments and why each law should be or not to be.

Hello, I'm a mix raced atheist, what are you going on about and what's with the tribalism?
I've studied plenty of divine laws, within a lot of different belief systems. It mostly comes down to most humans agreeing on what is good behavior and having them try to force the people who don't care about good or bad to follow these rules.
This gets people who get to the same ideas from a different route caught in the crossfire.

stopped believing since my dad passed away when I was only four years old now 26. so I guess never really believed at all

This is why Satan is cooler (Not saying I'm a satanist) than God. Satan actually has a backstory and all that good stuff.

I think Satan was anything outside being Hebrew.

who knows man, there's no way for us to know

that's like asking the stickman I just drew whether he knows where I came from

>be christian
>browse Sup Forums even though it's full of everything that's against it

Oh shi-

So circular logic until you feel convinced?
At least in the universe where people ask what was before, they learn things from this endless row of questions.
