Why did they use black grout on the floor and a tan grout on the wall, looks weird. Also the seem between the backsplash and the counter looks bad, poor craftsmanship. Also the base is way to high, who does that? It's like 12" high, should be about 4". Overall very unprofessional, looks like a rushed job.

That base! That's what's been bugging me. The different grout is fine since they used a dark base to bridge the colors and I think they're going for a rough look overall which is probably a good idea since it's as a bathroom it's gonna get fucked up anyways, but that goddamn base is way too high.

I think the color they have on the rest of the wall is fine, I mean it's tile... just mop that shit up, unless it's so ghetto people are puking and shitting on the floor or something. I've just never seen that much black or the base a different color unless it was just a design element. They make a bottom course that has a radiused transition to the floor tiles from the wall tiles, kinda like an L shape.
