been getting into more dungeon synth lately. this seems pretty great. bookmarking to return after melee is over. reminding me of twin peaks

actually think the guitar licks here are pretty good occasionally, but I have no idea what you're trying to accomplish with the vocal melodies. it feels like it's just thrown on, doesn't fit at all. not even saying it's lazy, just...janky.

bookmarking this as well, only skimmed for now. if you'd put this out 2-3 months from now I'd probably love it. still enjoying it. an album to listen to with your eyes closed.

Very good, gonna download it for sure, maybe improve the bass sound a little bit - just as accident I opened Jouska twice (with a tiny difference in time), and its sounds even more amazing
Nice, love the percussion in Thunder
Nothing beats a simple indie rock album, great stuff (Closer is an amazing song)
GIRL REEEEE, JK, good album, but the lack of bass really hurt the songs, maybe adding a second guitar doing bare chords and stuff could help

If I skip you, I probably heard or know of you already. No hard feelings.

Chill af. Shit's fire.
Very Vomir, I like the underlying oscillations.
I love the minimalism. Easily something to zone out to.
Beautiful, verry melancholy and mournful.
>Post-Shoegaze
I love the blending of the genres y'all incorporate. Very beautiful outcome.
Driven to Win is a better track, honestly.
This conveys a lot of soundscapes and emotions, I'm in love with it.
The rock is decent. Needs a bit of practice, but I can appreciate the minimalism of it.
The dream pop is very good though.
You guys have something going on, but I'd say keep working on it

Seeing a bunch of new people, which is cool. You new guys should listen and leave feedback though - I'm STILL listening regularly to an album I found in one of these threads 2 years ago. You find good things in these threads sometimes! Plus it's cool to get to remember people and build the community. Give it a try it feels good.

I lived in Oshawa while I went to university (UoiT :/) and this music is hilariously on point for what that it's like. Other than that, the ambience is really incredible here. I love that there's still a good degree of tonality to things, but it also has the subtle intensity of drone music. I think Sun Melting the Heart is definitely the track that stands out to me the most. It's got a slow build that's really minimalistic but also pulls you along and makes you feel a lot. I think that's a strong idea that you could delve into even more!

Decided to bite, more from your picture than the faux arrogant description. Usually when somebody uses a phrase like "actually interesting" or criticizes all the other shit in these threads, they have some boring ass ambient thing recorded on a laptop mic. You don't have that so that's good, but I will say that you've squashed the whole thing a little too much with a limiter (or is that peaking?) and it just makes the whole thing sound like some dude who doesn't know how to use audacity. it doesn't do a whole lot for the lo fi sound. There's like... some kind of overwhelming chorus or phaser? The effects are just distracting and sound amaturish. Maybe tone them down. The way your different beats and rhythms mesh together is definitely the biggest and most important strength. Compositionally, you might want to work on your transitions, which are fine, but sometimes sound abrupt

I love the kinda strange vibe this stuff has, plus the synthy style.

This is sick, can we collab? I'm sure i could do something insane if i sampled your sounds.

I rly like your vocals, It reminds me of the stuff i listened to as a teenager. very nostalgic.

You production is really cool (im listening to the old project) could really do with some vocals tho, would really tie it all together. Is it more samples or synths?

Wat, i like this. I like silly things. dont ever let anyone tell you to stop the absurdity of your stuff gives it allot of character. Can I use one of your instrumentals for something possibly?

REC:
good !!!

As far as I can see, noise is semi-organised chaos
This is totally unorganised. I like what I'm hearing a lot but I see no reason for the harsh noise part to start suddenly at the 2:30 mark in the first track, after 8 minutes of long unchanging drone. There's no logic behind this, which isn't a problem for most noise fans, all these different textures and themes just don't go well together if there is no transition between them.

I wouldn't agree with the Industrial tag, I'd say the same for the Witch House tag. The best tracks wouldn't really be questionably these tags anyway, the lofi television music type beats that draw people into Tyler, The Creator's new album are here in a few tracks and I'd say you do the sound very well.
it seems like you've taken nostalgia to an excess. There's really nothing that remarkable about any of this so far, it's adding nothing to a formula that bored BriWi before the 60s had even ended. If you're gonna be influenced by the beach boys, at least be influenced by the interesting stuff (the oddball production) too.
It does seem to meander, the formula of the songs leans on those poppy hooks and vocal melodies that your production is drowning out, your production leans on interesting riffage and dreamscapes that all bar Slowdive lack.
the synths often seem out of place, try more somber melodies and use more of an early synth sound, it sounds more organic with the folk. The vocals could do with being a little less fuzzy, a little more clean, but that's not a big issue. I think this is very creative if a little Elverum worshippy.
I really like the direction, it walks a fine line between mall goth and emo. I do however feel like there could be more restrained parts. maybe rely on less reverb on all the instruments, I feel like some things (lead guitars) could do with more fuzz, some things (drums) could do with being a bit more immediate.
the singing is very twee, could do with a bit more melodic drive though. There's just not enough in the way of sticky riffs, the production on Best Friends would work incredibly well given a stickier riff, and whilst I enjoy the variation track to track it's jarring going from twee to garage

Usual Recs:
Feedback:
Quantum is a really tasteful track. The samples in the beginning make the track interesting enough to keep going with it, and the sounds that you use are really cohesive. I'd suggest tuning down a little bit the high frequencies on that "ssh" white noise.
Listening to I Love Jesus. I like how it sounds, production wise. The mastering and the mixing make it feel like it has a certain thing that's going on, instead of just making things sound "good". Also, the sampling by the end is fucking amazing. Wish it was longer.
Listened to a tiny bit of each one, but The Lie caught my attention. Would have put that one as the featured track. It's a really dynamic track, your production is very good and everything sounds crystal clear. Good work. Also, the distorted sample in Why is really interesting, an album with that sound would be really cool.
