Actually i dont use reddit so get fucked. I been there a couple times ill admit but then i saw it was like 70% morons trying to make shitty puns out of anything for attention. Sup Forums might have been shit for a long time now but at least i have some nostalgia for this place

Reddit is my go-to when I want to talk about or read something specific. If I'm learning a new programming language, I'll visit that subreddit to find resources. New game, I'll go to the sub to read the memes and learn strategies.

Also porn. It's not great for porn, but at least it changes out every day and you don't have to read through copypasta and forced memes. Plus, if you're in the mood for something specific, there's a subreddit for it.

I have never had an account and I've never browsed Reddit outside of reading specific posts that were linked to me.

Reddit only matters if you think it's cool and exciting to get points and build up an persistent online persona that's most likely nothing like you.

reddit doesnt 'matter' but its a useful site to visit daily because its currently one of the best aggregates of information on the internet especially for specialized specific topics with its subreddits. its nothing novel or new, other sites have done this before and died and one day some site will do it better than reddit and it will go away too but dont pretend its just some 'trend' its a useful tool

I wouldn't go as far as saying Sup Forums invented the meme. Something awful and other sites helped start the foundation and continue it, but to deny what Sup Forums did is lying to yourself. It was one of the greatest phenomenon to ever happen on this strange thing we call the web.

I didn't find it there either.
