there's nothing wrong with autism you fucking lazyposter
Check out Tical by Method Man if you ain't heard it
...
please no kill
I'd rather have someone lazy post, than to fucking rec Sup Forums core and fucking MGMT. You don't have to rec, if you don't know what to rec.
Neat chart
Main - Dry stone feed
recommending isn't the only way to contribute to a thread you know
posting your chart without saying anything is like a dog taking a dump on the street and then going back to minding his own business
U.S. Maple
I see that Steven Wilson album around a lot. Is it worth checking out? What's it like?
Blind Guardian - A Night at the Opera
I recommended MGMT to someone with a pop filled chart. It seems like youre the one who cant figure out how to rec to someones taste
Except, it's not taking a dump on the street. It's to show your fucking chart. That analogy is fucking retarded. I don't know if you noticed, but lazy posters get recs all the time.
You really think, someone on here hasn't heard MGMT?
Doesnt matter, and I specified if they havent. Why cant you let people just be nice to each other. Isnt there enough toxicity these days
>That analogy is fucking retarded.
it's actually very accurate in displaying how me and many other people depict lazyposters
>I don't know if you noticed, but lazy posters get recs all the time.
which is even more retarded. it's like me taking a shit and someone else cleaning it up out of goodwill
>You really think, someone on here hasn't heard MGMT?
it's entirely plausible. though someone with his taste, probably not
i myself have only heard a couple of songs from mgmt and never a full album
about that Steven Wilson album; it takes the best bits of early prog and adds in Wilson's lyrics and a little bit of his own sound. Darkly beautiful, definitely worth a listen
>how me and many other people depict lazyposters
you mean how YOU depict lazyposters
Condemn me all you want, 'lazy' posters are already contributing by posting their chart. I'm just saying there really isn't any point in getting mad at them when they get recs anyway and they already contributed by posting their chart.
hey dude thats some cool taste minus shizuka, not really a fan
she was dating some dude who pretty much did everything for her (or so the story goes)
actually listening to that simon finn album right now
everyone else in this thread is pretty boring honestly, listen to more interesting shit
my 3x3 is shit ive been listenign to recently, although its mostly cycling through shit i really like
...
I've never heard a full MGMT album. I think I've heard 2, maybe 3 songs over the years hanging around normies.
Sup Forums is filled with gaia-tier weeaboos, and jp is a shell of its former self. it is embarrassing, its a bunch of faux-''''otaku'''' regurgitating shit they find elsewhere on the web.
Sup Forums isn't all that better, it's shuffling the same 150~ albums around in different order
>you mean how YOU depict lazyposters
lol
im not alone on this thought
why do you like jap music so much
i live in tokyo and know the language well
i've seen a large number of acts live, and spend a lot of time in bars etc talking to people about music here

The more I keep listening to classical stuff, the less interested I get in listening to other stuff that isn't heavy/cathartic/intense. Couldn't really get into the other electronic stuff past the first couple listens that I had earlier on my chart. Am I becoming a snob?
Too many records from the same artists, my man. Even those without wild stylistic differences. Just make a smaller chart if you can't fit a top 100 otherwise.
Check out Menace Ruine's first two albums, Blut Aus Nord's Memoria Vetusta series, and the Azrimenda album on my chart (Stillbirth In The Temple Of Venus.)
Have you ever listened to the version Kontakte that's on my chart? It came out later, and has a piano/percussion accompaniment to go with the electronics. Perhaps worth checking out if you're a fan of the piece.
Where did you hear about that Even Oxen record? Just curious.
Still regret missing out on Ambarchi back in Italy. Couldn't believe he was gonna play in the restaurant right across from the hotel I lived in at Rome.
Masayuki Takayanagi - Eclipse
String Quartet 8 is god tier. So is SFTB, Fas, and I guess F#A# as well. You gotta check out the new Pyrrhon I feel like it's the 2010s version of Fas like that one record that further ups the intensity from its predecessors in the genre.
Hey man, do you know anyone else in the Japanese scene that works with noise in an experimental capacity like Aube? Cardiac Strain was a big surprise for me when I first heard it. That is, if you guys talk about it enough there for you to know this.
Now Playing:
ıllıllı [Igorrr - Savage Sinusoid (2017)] ıllıllı
Oh, sup?

listen to Be by Common IMMEDIATELY.
bring the hate.
SoaD's self titled album is cool.
>bring the hate.
i would, if it didn't have roots
com truise looks slightly out of place, dont you like any other chillwave type of albums?
do you like bo en - pale machine?
all natural lemon & lime flavor - turning into small
stereolab - dots and loops
i haven't, i'll check it out though thanks!
and i think i heard about it in a best of the year so far thread last year
Pink Moon is fuckin incredible and so is Fallen Angels. Good picks, my dude.
>do you like bo en - pale machine?
Yeah, it's pretty nice, particularly the first track.
You should check out World's End Girlfriend's crazier stuff, like Seven Idiots, Wonderland, and Dreams.
heard em
oh just noticed that elephant gym nice
can you rec me some of that good stuff like them and clever girl, toe etc?
Yeah, she's been dating Fushitsusha ex-guitarist as far as i remember. I can't say I'm a «fan» of her, but the combination of that eerie voice and noisy melody really gives me some sort of «comfy anxiety» feeling.
Also, seems like you have a really good knowledge in Japanese music, definitely going to check your chart. I've already heard Kaoru Abe and 3776, but most of the names are new for me.
I don't particularly know any chillwave type albums. I just like the synth vibe.
then try out psychic chasms by neon indian (and/or vega intl. night school)
Brian Eno - Another Green World
>Spore
really???
Vince Staples - Big Fish Theory
I only did one album per artist; reccs appreaciated
What makes RTJ2 your favourite out of curiosity? As for reccs: El-P's solo stuff if you ain't heard it, Tical, and I Don't Like Shit I Don't Go Outside
don't you usually have perfect from now on? Can you give me names of the middle row?
You got PFM up there and no gentle giant? try their three friends album
also, early sparks for xtc
why not? it's a great soundtrack
Ahh. I've been seeing it around more often recently. Was wondering if Bear's been trying to viral that record (he's the /daily/ trip who made it.) He wouldn't be the first one either since I know the minimalist/maximalist album cover guy also did the same thing.
It's hard to say all three of RTJ's records are relatively similar I just feel 2 is a little bit stronger than the others.
I really like El-P as a producer but was never incredibly impressed by his rapping on the RTJ albums. Still worth checking out?
I used to have Gentle Giant's Free Hand and Octopus and self titled at some point. Not anymore.
I (and almost anyone I've spoken with) associates the game only with bad memories
I wouldn't even be able to tell you what it sounded like
Also it was the only video game on your chart which made it even stranger
post your favorite track I guess
ok, i don't know what happened, but have this rare album then: youtube.com
are you in any way interested in steely dan btw? your picks make me think you'd like the royal scam
i mean i guess if you're into harder skill-based games Spore is gonna be lame, but i love the game's design and atmosphere, and the soundtrack is unforgettable to me, having this primordial sense of wonder to it. (made by Brian Eno u know). the main menu theme is incredible
Sure, I have the feeling I would like Steely Dan. Will listen to it next. Hands seems interesting as well, thanks.
pls no bully
They certainly are fairly simmilar, RTJ2 sticks out a bit compare to the other two though RTJ is really fucking solid, RTJ2 is a lot more energetic than the others and has some lower points, and I'm inclined to say simmilar things about RTJ3 as I said about RTJ but I haven't listened to it that much.
Yeah I'd say it's still worth checking out his solo stuff. Still got the production, and I like it a lot more lyrically, but his second album is one of my favourites so I may not be being entirely fair. Aside from his solo stuff there's also The Cold Vein and Funcrusher Plus which are supposed to be really good I think, El-P does production on both and raps on the latter, not sure if either of those interest you but it can't hurt to mention them so I might as well.
if that one doesn't click for you, try an earlier album (the royal scam wasn't that well received, but it's my favorite). katy lied, for example, is a bit more.. musical.
and before i forget, try england and japan (for yes and talk talk)
...
