Alcan Road has very little movement throughout the track and is one of the least standout tracks on Quebec. Its only plus side is that it's a decent lead in into The Argus, but the Argus is one of Ween's greatest standalone tracks, period, so it's not like Alcan Road helps that much. As much of an illegitimate criticism it may be, Alcan Road is the epitome of boring, especially when it comes to Ween.
Joppa Road begins with a very inviting drum introduction and the following guitar is even more enticing. The dynamics throughout the verses are a comfy ride and the melody is strangely charming. The track has an overall feel of golden light upon it I would say. The first guitar solo is one of the most tasteful solos featured in a Ween song. The "Baby, you look great today" line is thrown in nicely. My only complaint is that the second solo could have been played a little better. As a cohesive track in the album, it doesn't really matter because C&C is nearly a greatest hits compilation anyway.
