Kråka, kaja, skata and korp.
I won't tell which is which.
We can call them all "kråka" (crow) except the skata (a type of magpie).

Un corbeau

I always thought Swedish was a cool language, rip it will be missed.

kanker

Kaja har jag inte hört förut.
Swedish has more speakers than ever before, actually.

The difference between Swedish and English diminish a lot in its written form, if you change the spelling of most words.

'Word' is 'ord' in swedish.
Lets just spell it 'word' and say the 'W' is silent.
And Swedish just becomes a really weird dialect of English.

We even share all if not most of your latin loanwords, or... lånord?

Kajor är de där små "gråsvarta" och smarta jävlarna utanför resturanger.
Man kallar dom oftast bara för kråka.

of course swedish and english are similar they are both just mimicking danish! Sadly your mushy wimpy throaths can't handle our glorious soft d's.

lol everytime I see a danish post, it's about how Denmark is so superior to the rest of the nordic countries and the world.
I'm just curious, I'ts a common way of thinking right there or it's just that you are the only danish here?

We mostly do it so the Swedes and Norwegians can feel validated in their belief that we are the noisy stupid one of the scandinavia trio.

The secret is that each of us thinks we are the best country in the north, but for completely different reasons.

Gagak

Every single time without fail. I'd be angry if it wasn't so genuinly funny.

Karasu

In Turkish karasu means "blackwater". Do you think it descends from Turkic?

Black crow = Чёpный вopoн (cherniy voron)

How would learning Swedish benefit me?

I mean they're a buncha drunk germans on flat beach. They literally have nothing to aspire to other than their booze laws and their rebellious politicans.

Well if you wanted to talk to an old swedish person it would be useful.

Otherwise you can just go trough living in sweden knowing not a single word.

Danes are the Argentines of Nothern Europe. They are the smuggest country in the region and nobody like them because of that.

When our new 1.5 million immigrants get 11 million children, whom then get 100 million children of their own.
In 100 years Sweden will become one of the largest languages of the world!

>tfw I also noticed this(qarasu - blackwater in Kazakh)
But, I suppose, it's a completely wrong etymology
kuroi - black / mizu - water in Japanese

cuervo, it's tasty?

...

I like your country but it is a shame that its culture is dying.
The vast majority of Kazakhs can only speak RUSSIAN and live by the RUSSIAN culture.

ЧTO Ж TЫ BЬЁШЬCЯ
HAД MOEЮ ГOЛOBOЙ

I know that feel
I like Finnic languages and culture(especially, Vepsian). And it's sad that these peoples were strongly assimilated by Russians

>The vast majority of Kazakhs can only speak RUSSIAN and live by the RUSSIAN culture.
You're exaggerating a little though
The number of Kazakh speaking people is growing here

A Brazilian. Because it's black and steals shiny things.

At least we don't put a sausage in a tortilla wrap and call it a hotdog, you filthy heathens.

I have been summoned!

what the silly mountain-monkey doesn't understand is that those number actually have the unspoken suffix "sindstyve" wich means times twenty. Furthermore the "Halv" prefix actually means "the half before" like on a clock.

so it becomes:
50=(3-0.5)*20
60=3*20
70=(4-0.5)*20
80=4*20
90=(5-0.5)*20

see? perfectly logical.

That's okay, but is it true that on the old 50 kroner note, it said "femti" (fifty), but most Danes didn't know what "femti" was?

oh that is rich comming from a country who's main cullinary contributions to the world consists of leaving herring to rot in a can and bread to dry on a stick.

>the half before like on a clock
I never got why Germans and Danes do this... "halb drei" means 2:30. Are there any Europeans countries that don't do this retarded shit.

Half drie

WHY DO YOU DO THIS
JUST SAY "TWO THIRTY"
"TWEE DERTIG"
REEEEEEEE

I mean it's true that it did use to say that, but i don't remember it being an issue. Might have been before my time.

Tapas time?

Halon in Alanic.

No. That makes no sense.
Just like using am/pm

When will you guys learn?

dumb nigger struggling with clocks

Пoл-тpeтьeгo, we do this as well ^^

We call 24 hour time "military time" and only edgelords use it here.

I understand it perfectly well it's just retarded. Really it's a glass half full versus glass half empty type thing.

Иди нaхyй пидapacь)))

>Really it's a glass half full versus glass half empty type thing
Nope. Time from 00:00 to 00:59 is the FIRST hour in the day, so 00:30 is a half of the first hour. Moronic burgers never learn

but am/pm isn't military time. military time is the system they invented because your normal way of telling time is a bad system.

>burgers insist on doing everything retarded
>since it's retarded, the military has to invent another way to do it
>"""invent""" the way Europeans and indeed the entire world already does it

You can't make this shit up. Do you have square wheels as well, and then call round wheels "military wheels"?

God, I hate Americans

Just shot my neighbor's cat with my air rifle

LORD FORGIVE HIM

HE GOT THEM DARK FORCES IN HIM!

>You can't make this shit up. Do you have square wheels as well, and then call round wheels "military wheels"?

Fucking hell Poland! Why are you like this? we were all having a good time naming birds and picking on the americans and then you go bring us all down.

It's also half an hour PAST 0:00. In 12 hour time we'd say 12:30, or half past 12. We see any time between 12 and 1 as minutes added onto 12, so 12:30 is half past 12. We don't see it as half of 1.

12 hour time isn't called military time. Reread my post.

Varna

We see it as half of one when it crosses over the halfway mark, so 12:30 is "half past 12" and 12:40 is "twenty to one"

corvo

That is clearly a parakeet.

Krauklis.

Karga

What's really the point of all this bullshit? Can't you just call it "Twelve Thirty" and so on?

a kraai
As usual most germanic languages have a word that looks alike

>korp
Finnish loanword?
