There are so many ways in which sex is "forbidden" that you can always find a way to get back at someone by having sex.
Did your partner upset you? Go have sex with someone else and get back at them. Did your parents upset you by being over-protective? Go have sex with someone from another religion or another race. Do you resent religion? Go have sex with anyone that you like.
Sex is very often used as a way of "getting back at someone.
Someone on here said that it is "a status symbol". But it's not. People BELIEVE that it is a status symbol. There is a huge difference.Not only that, but it is a status symbol in as much as it is a way to get back and shut up all the people that you feel judged and criticized by. If you fear being criticized for being poor, then nothing will help as much as penetrating a woman who is rich. If you are insecure about being fat, then having sex with a woman who is petite or athletic may feel awesome.
So, sex is a status symbol because it is believed to have a social meaning to it. Once you realize that it is two human beings pleasuring each other, it takes all the meaning out of it.
