Sri Lanka better declare at the tea break. Already have more than enough runs on the board.
Jacob Jenkins
IMO the Indian team should have given Mitchell Marsh a guard of honour last game to mark his last ever Test match
Jeremiah Hill
There are people in this thread right now, who believe MMarsh isn't going to keep his spot in the ODI side, and be at least considered for Test selection within 18 months
Eli Miller

If Australia select Pukeson Poord next game it is ogre
Justin Turner
Obvs they should play Hazlewood and three spinners
Charles Long
depends on the pitch
Pattinson or the Cum could be useful
Lincoln Adams
>Pattinson no
> or the Cum He can be the allrounder and bat @ 6
then pick 3 spinners
Easton Taylor
>select Mitch Marsh for his batting and only bowl him for two overs >select Stoinis for his replacement because "he's a better bowler then Henriques"
William Peterson
Renshaw Khawaja Smith S Marsh HandSCUM Cummins Wade+ Maxwell SOK Lyon Hazlewood

How come no one is calling for Shane Cuckner's head?
Everyone bullies the Koala for being shithouse in Asia. Cuckner is objectively worse. He has scored 1(ONE) century outside of Australia and South Africa in his entire career.
Juan Lewis
Because Warner has the skill to make 20 runs in India unlike the bushman
Jordan Rodriguez
Because ACB's have never seen him play on a non-Channel 9 mandated road

Stoinis has a Big Rig
Austin Wright
>Glenn Maxwell has been named Kings XI Punjab captain for the tenth season of the IPL, which starts on April 5. The Australian allrounder takes over the role from M Vijay, who was appointed captain midway through the last season.
>Maxwell has never captained in the 338 matches he has played across formats and has been picked for the role ahead of Eoin Morgan, who led England to the World T20 final in 2016, and Darren Sammy, who captained West Indies to two T20 World Cup titles.
Morgan is the best captain in world cricket prove me wrong
Jeremiah Reyes
35.82 isn't too horrible

Hope based Stoinis makes his debut soon

Is this the single most cowardly refusal to declare in the history of test cricket?
Jaxon Lopez
Why isn't Joe Burns in the side?
David James
It's not woeful but it includes his elite scores in South Africa. I suppose the question is why we're happy to go 'horses for courses' with Khawaja due to his terrible record in Asia, but it's not even a question for Warner whose performances in Asia are equally as bad.
Carson Martin
Yeah talking about Eoin Morgan though
Gabriel Lopez
Then learn to (you)

Want to prove me wrong on Morgan?

>tfw my dad used to support half the teams as a kid and his brothers still talk about it

I you cannot tell that Bangladesh will survive to a draw you are an absolute plebian
James Nelson
Nah i reckon Morgan is better

Morgan is actually elite and Ireland would be a test playing nation by now if he hadn't run off.
Since RC manage to best Lloyd despite his crippling knee injury, was he the reincarnation of Bradman?

Reminder Bangladesh aren't as shit as they used to be and defeated England a few months ago Reminder England only went because the entire fucking Bangladesh army was going to show up Reminder English players were given the option to not play Reminder Australia also skipped out on the U 19s World Cup, which was played on flat decks and provides invaluable experience to players Reminder Australia just beat India on the worst pitch put out in the 21st century and comfortably outplayed India for 2.75 days in the next game Reminder Australia voluntarily went to Sri Lanka after skipping Bangladesh, despite Bangladesh being the far weaker side Reminder kys

remember how jeff thomson almost never got injured? what the fuck went wrong lads
Gabriel Peterson
>Kapil Dev never missed a Test because of injury or fitness reasons in a career that spanned 131 Tests spread over 16 years.
I think its because they're playing too much cricket?
Kayden Gutierrez
Nah, they actually play less cricket these days believe it or not.
Border had a similar record, I'm fairly sure he went for over 100 back to back tests.
I know an Australian guy came out with a book a few months back that claimed that fast bowlers were breaking down more regularly since the change to the front foot no ball rule from the back foot rule meant that they were carrying too much force through their front legs, so that could be a factor. Guys like Pattinson, Cummins, Bond and the like seem to get a lot of back problems too though, and I don't know how that's linked. All I know for certain is that players are playing less cricket and getting injured more.
Ian Sullivan
>bowled well over 160 >only major injury was from a collision Maybe slinging is something that needs to be looked at more. Then again Malinga and Tait are always breaking down, so who knows.
Nolan Jenkins
>Border had a similar record, I'm fairly sure he went for over 100 back to back tests. 153, the most for any player
