I disagree, but my favorite album was Aladdin Sane, so what do I know

Idk what you know why are you asking me?

I just mean that Aladdin Sane is actually considered the worst of the Glam Rock era, so my taste isn't the best

but Bowie changed styles so often that any era is technically valid as being the 'greatest' if it fulfills what you look for in music

Outside and Earthling are amazing
Seven Years in Tibet is incredible

I have another unpopular opinion.
Pic related sucks.

OP here, Aladdin Sane is still a great album.

looks ike a 3 year old created that cover in paint

Overrated still pretty good though

Which one?

Can't swallow it, really. Sounds like Micheal Buble shit with a bit more of effects.

I wish my favourite Bowie album wasn't his most accessible album.

Hunky Dory is the best album

Cygnet Committee is the best song on the album, and a better song than Space Oddity

Space Oddity is overrated, I agree with you.

Indeed. Let us worship the later spirit of Bowie. Hands together.

Anyone else agree that The Loneliest Guy is ridiculously underrated.

It's the era I listen to most. I can only imagine what he would've come up with if he never had the heart attack, in 2005 he said he was working on a follow up to Reality and said it was "sounding weird". The wait for The Next Day was hard, but I always knew he'd come back eventually

I do. I think lots of his later work is underrated, "Hours..." and The Buddha of Suburbia are great albums and people generally don't like the first despite him having very similar sounding songs on The Next Day, TND Extra and Blackstar (I can't give everything away)

And a lot of people skip Buddha because it was marketed as a soundtrack when it's a proper studio album, he said it was his favourite album at one point, kind of crazy he wrote and recorded it all in under a week IIRC.

I agree. Hours is actually a great album.

>considered the worst of the Glam Rock era
>what is diamond dogs?

Heathen->Reality->The Next Day->The Buddha Of Suburbia->Outside->The Leon Suites->Hours
