Wait, why? What's stopping me from shooting would be thiefs and squatters? The fact I own my land has nothing to do with government and all to do with the fact I have ways to defend it. In the case of property under government, a general agreement to not take the defense of it against would be thief on your own because it's less beneficial for all if you end up having to run around in a truck with a machine gun. State is collectivized violence, after all, but that doesn't preclude I using my personal violence to ensure my property remains mine, no government needed.
