There's nothing that says a triangle can't have lines going through it. As long as its perimeter comprises three sides and three acute angles, you got a triangle, regardless of whether there are lines drawn inside or outside of it or not.

All triangles have to top point as a vertex. If you disagree, trace me a triangle that doesn't.

Any horizontal segment, connected to the top vertex by diagonal lines, will yield a triangle. There are no triangles that do not follow this pattern. Again, if you disagree, show me a counterexample.

There are 4 rows, each divided into 3 parts. Now we take however many segments we can find in one row, and multiply it by 3.

- We have 3 segments, labeled a, b, and c.
- We have 2 more segments, made by combining a&b or b&c
- We have 1 last segment, made by combining all three parts.

1+2+3 = 6 segments per row

6*4 = 24 segments total

Each segment yields a triangle therefore there are 24 fucking triangles.
