Is there any credibility to the idea that the English national team is stagnating its talent by keeping all of its players in the Premier League?

>Forster, Hart, Heaton
>Walker, Rose, Smalling, Cahill, Clyne, Dier, Stones, Bertrand
>Milner, Alli, Wilshere, Lallana, Barkley, Henderson
>Sterling, Kane, Vardy, Rooney, Rashford, Sturridge

Looking at that roster, not a single one of them played outside of the PL and even now Hart is the only one to playing in a different league.

Outside of baffling tactical decisions like subbing Rashford on in the 88' minute and having Kane take all corners and free kicks, could this be part of the greater problem?

its the best league in the world la

>English national team
>talent
Pick one.

Turns out globalisation is bad for most people

No, Chris Smalling or James Milner won't suddenly become better players just by moving to a different country

the real problem is the lack of black guys

The Premier League has a great variability of coaches from many different schools of football and English players are exposed to them without leaving ever their country.

Dier played in Portugal

If by most people you mean white trash in snowflake countries then yes

>sturridge is supposed to be 1.88
>henderson is supposed to be 1.82

wat

England team is shit thats why

>implying vardy didn't spend several summers in magaluf

Barely any of them are English. Most of the white players are Irish/Scots and the rest are black.

i watch the epl top 6 regulary and i dont even know who the fuck half of these are, out of all of these kane is the only good player the other ones go through periods of 10%good 90%bad

IT'S COMING HOME LA'

>probably our only half decent performer at the euros
>didn't even grow up playing football in England

fucking kill me now lads

>that backline

Jesus christ how sad.

It's the english arrogance. Their talents would rather rot away on the bench or in their clubs B teams because it's more prestigous than going to some "no-name" club in Europe. Then they get loaned out to some lower league shit club, fade away into obscurity and retire from football at age 26.

What it could be like, if english talents had a different mindset, you only have to look at Gnabry. He's german but he played for Arsenal B, moves to Bremen and becomes a key player for them.

it's because they get paid too much, in the portuguese league you don't even make decent money unless you play for the big 3 the players in the bottom clubs make less than min wage in most western european countries, meanwhile in england if you're english and show a bit of potential you immediatly get hit with a millionair contract and you don't have more motivation to improve anymore, even if you play in a 2nd division club you probably still make more than you would playing in a mid table la liga or bundesliga club, plus you can stay in your comfort zone and not have to learn a few words in another language

The EPL is too physically demanding. If you have too many EPL players your country will do badly on the international stage. See England, Belgium...

bullshit just look how many epl clubs reached the cl finals in 2005-2010
