rateyourmusic.com/release/album/epiglottis/the-dance/
rateyourmusic.com/artist/epiglottis/

I find the harsh track to be the worst one and very much lacking substance. The recording quality is also a bit of a problem - screamo work the best when the sound can actually surround you which, I feel, doesn't happen on this particular track. However, when the mellow is being bumped up to 11 it feels very good. But again - you really should consider better recording environment and mixing. I feel like, at times, the vocals are way too quiet.

Good shit:
The drums on Main road are fucking delicious. I've always been a huge fan of non-sample vaporwave-y music and this is some top-tier stuff. Will definitely keep listennig to this in the future.

This shit is hella dark, I love it. Hyped for "The Dance"

Why are you quitting your project? Is this another thing where there will be a name change?

Full "statement" is on my Facebook but to sum up - got too much emotional about it (apparently making 80% of your discography about your ex-gf as a surrounding theme is NOT a good idea), hating making music more than enjoying it, I might be back under Aer Leabhar alias, probably on the other BC page entirely

Funny thing - I still haven't heard "Everywhere" from the day it was released. Jesus, I feel old.

Do you think you will keep making ambient music after this project?

This seems like something I would really like, downloaded will listen at work.

Nothing's set in stone right now, to be completely honest. All I know is that I want to shift my focus towards modern classical/neoclassical sound. Maybe some possible composing here and there if possible (having an eye on making very, very spacious, quiet, extreme tonal chamber music; Feldman and late Cage guides me in that direction as of now).
If ambient will occur on any possible releases in the future it will be either as an addition for this "new" direction or as a way of "thinking" of approaching classical sound. I would not count on the possibility of the next full-ambient release any time soon but, like I've said, nothing is yet fully decided.

I see I've lost quite a bit of a foot when it comes to your releases. Gonna check the newest in a bit for sure!

Ah yeah I get you. I've struggled with weaving relational stuff in music recently too, and it's a challenge because you're more passionate about the music but I can obviously be a little too personal I guess. Well anyway I'm sure you'll be making music after this anyway, the desire is irresistible.

And yeah I didn't advertise Everywhere too much so that would makes sense, it's not really a real 'album' necessarily.

Hey yeah thanks! That song in particular is pretty out there compared to a lot of the other stuff I've made. Also I just downloaded Tezeta. I seriously enjoy crazy/glitchy/sampled shit like that.

Those percussion patterns are sick, straight out of an Aphex Twin song. The synths are a little basic but the melody is great.

Thanks for the listen man! The Aphex Twin vibe was exactly what I was going for with the percussion. I totally agree with the synths being a little basic, most of these songs were rushed and created in less than a week (with the exception of 'World'

New songs are nice Mr. Huttoad. The extra instrumentation that comes in at the end of Howl is awesome, almost wish it were present for more of the song, but still the melody is nice and works pretty well all bare like that. I think as a whole I prefer Limes though. It's a very busy track and I mean that in a good way. Thematically I'll say it's not really something that tends to interest me but it seems to be well executed enough. Some nice wordplay and rhymes throughout it too. Though I may not be too into the content itself your songwriting craft does seem to really shine here, looking forward to more.
Track title is uh a bit much, but I liked it for what it was. Very foreboding, and even has a kind of sway to it that hints to the album title. Pretty neat.

an interesting blend of humor and depression.

one track that stands out is nap after a funeral. I really like that swirling arhythmic melody. very dream like and nice.

woah this is really interesting. I love track four. it's very pretty amidst the chaos of static and post apocalyptic sounds. It reminds me of a 65 days of static type interlude. really nice

do your chores is really cool I really like the flam type kick drum and snare. the atmosphere is really fantastic. I think if you had a detuned triangle wave type melody come out and work with the percussion that would be sweet. Listening to your other tracks I think do your chores is definitely your strongest track. The have awesome sounds and production but sort of lack the direction track 2 has.

Hey guys I want to release a physical version of 2 of my older albums, the two releases would be in one package, and I want it to appear on both releases' page and include a download for both of the albums when someone buys it.
Is (or was) there a way of doing it?

>dark ambient
>burzum
>silent hill
nice false advertising dude, you make nothing but bland midi trash that has nothing to do with any ambient. Not to mention you never ever interacted with anyone in this thread, no recs, feedback, response to people who gave you feedback. Shameful

As far as I'm aware you can only add one digital download to the CD merch so either you would have to send the downloads manually or find another service for that.

OR just make a digital release on your BC with both albums combined into a one download and then add physical versions in one package as a merch. Then attach the combined BC release as a download. Granted, it will not show up on both releases' page but maybe from that point you can attach a merch that was already created to these pages. You just need to experiment a bit.

This is a good thread

Hey Sup Forums,

graphic design and illustrator-user here. I'll have some time and I'm looking for a small project I can work on in my free time. So if you need a album cover or something similar feel free to drop a link to your work and a way to contact you. I will continue posting some examples.

I would love to make something vaporwave or future funk related, but all music is welcome.

Furthermore I would like to learn some animation. Maybe useful for a small music video?

Even though I rarely go in these bandcamp threads on Sup Forums, this has to seriously be some of the best stuff I've heard. I actually enjoyed the opener (as well as "Your Face Is A Mess"). This would definitely benefit from further studio treatment though.
