It's a build up of dead cells. Usually from to much sugar, smoking, alcohol, or acids. Just cut back on those for a few days and brush your tongue more.

This can happen if you are dehydrated or if you are detoxing from something. Even fasting can leave white foam on your tongue. It is all of the nasty shit you consume trying to leave your body, because there is so much excess.
