what the fug

Even being below 80% is pretty bad imo

We are that high? Damn, I guess people WATCH OUR LEAGUE after all..

it's hard to give a fuck about your potato tier league

>40%
wew lads
did't knew we do so well

>Numbers say Ajax home match is sold out
>clearly 1 in 4 seats are empty

>the city of Austria
what went wrong?

why is a good league like serie a so low

while shit leagues like the dutch, belgian and bundesliga so high?

Why don't they just give the seats away for free? I bet they don't even make that much gate revenue anyway and it would definitely help serie A be more relevant

it can still be sold out, genius.
if you can't figure this one out, I weep for your future.

this wouldn't fix the hooligan problem
also, the stadiums are too big

After learning about calciopoli am surprised serie a is even a league still.

>The City of the ISA

Yeah but it isn't. Ajax Arena is the Emptyhad of the Netherlands.

>La Liga beaten by Eredivisie
LMAO

Bigger stadiums.

Hold me, lads

because people wouldn't buy tickets anymore and just wait for the club to give them away for free

The stadums are old and shit and despite that they cost too much. Also many fanless teams are in SerieA while more popular but less successful teams are in lower leagues, i'm pretty sure there are SerieB or even C teams that put better numbers than some SerieA ones.
Also popular teams like Milan are doing badly (while they are still second in attendences with 44m, that's onnly half of theyr stadium).
Also some teams have stadiums too big for theyr fanbase

If anything I'm surprised we're that high considering the level.

Less than 80% is pretty embarrassing really

An Italian friend of mine (born and raised in Germany tho, so maybe he has no clue actually) told me once that the reason Italians don't go to the stadium anymore is that football culture in Italy is centered around sportsbars/cafes and watching games with friends/family at home, so basically watching it on TV rather than live in the stadium.

It's mostly ultras who go to the stadium in Italy these days according to him.

Source: OP's ass.

>there are SerieB or even C teams that put better numbers than some SerieA ones
yeah, the mismanagementl/downfall of teams in densely populated cities like Parma, Bari, Catania, Venezia, Padova, Verona (Hellas), Messina, Reggio Calabria (Reggina), Perugia, Livorno, Foggia (and soon Palermo) isn't helping

also true, the overexploitation of pay-TVs here is another major factor

Why should I watch the Portuguese league when they themselves don't?

That's also true with Spain

>Australia
>city

It's a continent you dumb fucking turk

Yes, this is also true especially in small towns who are far from any big teams

>juvewinslol league
52% is still too much.

>i'm pretty sure there are SerieB or even C teams that put better numbers than some SerieA ones.
This is last year's results for exemple (the numbers on the right is the tier the team is plying in), combine that with stadiums being too big (Chievo Stadium's is almost 40m) and ticket too expensive for the old stadiums and that's why

That big difference between Inter and AC looks interesting

Any guesses where mls would be? ~35%?

>caring about tickets sold
>Even caring about stadium seats anyway

TV runs sports,

You just have tiny stadia, greasebag.

Milan has been expecially depressing to follow in the last 3 years

I think it'd be more around 70% considering amerifats' asses usually need 2 seats

>serie a
>good league

lol

>Everybody who buys a ticket and has a season ticket actually goes to the game

>turkey

what a ludicrous display

Literally everyone in Turkey supports an Istanbul club so all the others are fucked

>italy

what the fug

yeah the attendance really took a downturn when the other 68 percent moved to germany

let's post some statistics that are actually relevant though

xD

...

pls..

stadiums are from another era, when tickets were way cheaper and people had more money to spend, Serie A was objectively the best league in the world and soccer was like a religion to most italians

now the economy is shit, many big teams are shit, Serie A is a joke in european competitions (although in the last few years it somewhat improved) and soccer as a culture suffered blow after blow from scandals, ultras bullshit and corruption

the sport is dying and foreign investment is the only thing that can save it

imagine paying all that money to see teams like arseshit. sky era customers are the dumbest motherfuckers on the planet.

...

I think one can partly explain the Serie A percentage by the fact that San Siro holds 80k people and it's shared by two teams that aren't doing well.

>top tier european leagues

>scotland
>sweden
>poland
>denmark

>top tier

meaning the top tier leagues in their respective countries Abdul

>Major League Soccer would be 4th or 5th on this list

They probably don't even know football exists in 80% of the country

wow it must be really hard filing up a 10,000 seat venue in alkmaar

pretty sure the MLS should be on this list
