They have a 'winner takes all' system, same as the US. At their last general election, UKIP, the most conservative of the larger parties, got 20% of the votes, but only won 2 seats in parliament. They have conservatives in the country, but because of their voting system, only a few parties have huge control. Right now the paty Conservatives, aka Tories, are in power, but they aren't conservative on an American spectre.

The """"""conservative"""""" party aren't actually conservatives any more, but UKIP are basically old school conservatives (except better). We do have a few far right parties (BNP, Britain First, and the EDL), and both the BNP and Britain First parties are growing (albeit slowly).
We do also have some extreme left parties (like the Equality For Women party) but everyone knows that they're fucking retarded and they don't usually last for very long.

Not really no. After World War 2 the left got voted in and gave everyone free stuff to help after the war efforts. Since then people took a massive shift to the left and they werent seen as bad guys. The only reason the right get into power now is because the left got Diluted by other parties. We have a 2 party system with 6 somewhat relevant parties, 4 are left and 1 cross both right and left (UKIP)
