Correct, a friend of mine who is a doctor was on the admissions board at his medical school and told me in no uncertain terms that due to affirmative action, only the very best white and Asian students get into med school while black students can get in with mediocre marks and Native Americans can get in even if they only barely passed their classes and got a bad MCAT score.
