Hey Sup Forums I need help with weight loss...

So whatever I read for weight loss say that calories in calories out is the way, with some saying all about the insulin and whatever.

I have been tracking calories and had some success but now it's just stopped. Have I hit some sort of wall? Is this my metabolism slowing down or something? Am confused :(

Been the same weight for 2 months now.

Sounds like you've reached a plateau, which means, if you're eating the same, you should eat less and keep doing the same thing.

If you really want to lose weight and you don't have any medical conditions that could harm you, then fast for like 10 days while doing moderate exercise. Guaranteed you'll lose weight.

Get off your fat ass and exercise every day.

Cut all soda and fruit juice. No more sugary foods or snacks, including white bread. Only drink water.

That alone will help you lost 15+ lbs if you even consume an average of 1 soda per day (I lost 15 lbs, but I wasn't super over weight. Fatties tend to lose more at first because it is easier to drop weight when you are mega fat.)

Also cut how many meals/snacks you have. I eat 1 full meal and 1-2 snacks per day.

I was 150lbs, now I am just under 130lbs (still working to lose 5-10 more lbs) If you wonde why so low, I am a 5'6'' Asian manlet.

Besides water, drink red tea 30 minutes after each meal, it, it prevents fat storage.
Also don't eat after 19:00, metabolism slows down af after that hour

I’m losing weight now too, 0 exercise. I drink 64oz of a smoothie I make daily (frozen berry mix, (2) bananas, 4 tbsp of flax seeds and chia seeds and 3 cups of almond milk). Coffee is black, no sweetner or milk added. For lunch and dinner I cook a few things but all with lean ground turkey meat. I’ve been doing this for a month, eating as much as I want to and have lost 15 pounds in 31 days. Current weight: 230, was 245.

Also stop fapping to traps.

Stop consuming sugar, stop drinking soda, remember to only drink water. No fast food or microwaved food.

Yes. This guy knows.

The trips of truth.

Don't listen to the lolbroscience you'll get on Sup Forums. Read actual bariatric science by actual obesity specialists. For example, the statistics say that while it's possible to lose weight, the percentage of people who are able to take off more than 15% of their body weight and keep it off for more than two years is smaller than the margin of error. In other words, extreme, long-term weight loss without surgical intervention is considered statistically impossible by the experts.

You need to understand that every time you gain weight, the number of fat cells in your body increases. When you lose weight, those cells shrink, but do not disappear. This means that every time you regain lost weight you create more and more fat cells which never go away, and which make it easier and easier to gain the weight back. Eventually you reach a point where the number of calories necessary to lose weight is so low that you would die of malnutrition attempting it, at which point weight loss becomes impossible.

The goal, then should be to stabilize your weight at its current level. Contrary to lolbroscience, all calories are NOT made equal. A diet of the same number of calories of simple carbs and complex carbs will have very different effects. This is because insulin triggers the body to store fat, and simple carbs cause spikes in insulin levels.

Do your research and don't listen to the idiot teenyboppers in Sup Forums.

Yeah bro, it's not your fault you stuff your face and don't workout for more than 2 days before giving up!

Thank you, cancer, for giving me an example of the kind of idiot lolbroscience OP should be ignoring.

Yet you didn't site any of your bullshit. So if anything we are equally bullshitting each other. But OP is better off trying to eat less fats and sugar, and drinking more water, than to go out and get surgery to lose a simply amount of weight.

Surgery is typically a last resort, and you have to prove to your doctor that you've tried other methods before they will even consider you.

If you get surgery for less than 100 pounds of weight loss, you are a fucking idiot.

I've had this discussion many, many, many times before, cancer. I can and have cited every single thing I've written multiple times, and the result is always exactly the same: nothing. Dunning-Kruger morons like you aren't interested in actual science. For you, it's all about making yourself feel superior and lauding your poorly-educated "common sense" above actual expertise.

TL;DR: DIAF, kid.

just take DNP user

I guess my weight loss was fake, you are right.

Microwaving food is shorter than using other equipment, thus being healthier as there is less nutrient loss.

I think that guy was implying microwave meals. Of course if you prepare healthy meals to be heated up later, the microwave is safe to use. But TV dinners are pure junk.

No junk, and exercise. Just gotta burn more calories than you take in.

Go vegan faggot.

Cite your sources or shut up with your new wave hypnotic garbage compacted filth you useless sack of cells.

64oz of fruit smoothie may be a little too much sugar I think. Do you eat vegetables too ? Fibers and vitamins are important to a healthy diet. Anyway, don't give up, you'll lose a lot of weight the first year, then it should stabilize, don't worry about that :)

No veggies. mostly red meat, dairy products and some fruit. But there's not many carbs in dairy so i think im pretty balanced.

You could probably sneak a few servings of veggies in there and not even taste it.

Lost 1kg, because I have depression and no appetite.
2kg Inc.

Eating too much meat (more than 3 days a week is already a lot) and no veggies is not balanced and will fuck your body up in the long term. It's like smoking, stopping sucks for a while, then the bare smell of smoke disgusts you.
