Peñarol x Tucuman, not Palmeiras. Palmeiras beat Jorge Ruggeri (BOL) yesterday, m8.
Jayden Johnson
wtf is this tigger? next time bring a better pic champ
Angel Roberts
>miguel almiron is literally the coach with the most titles in the history of lanus
Jacob Roberts
consider that the last time we won the cup (1988) we lost 6-1 to millonarios in the group stage
Camden Edwards
:^) Hmmmm. Better to stay there then.
Eli Bennett
> Lanus had won more title since 1996 than 2 of the ((big)) five
Christopher Foster
ah, fuck im stupid
Christopher Powell
Playing against América de Cali in final, even PSG would win it
Austin Lee
Argentina needs a new Big Five: Estudiantes, Lanús, Vélez, Newell's and Belgrano
Ryder Clark
>eating 6 against Jorge Burruchaga was a good thing bro pls even the most optimistic hincha cant possibly dream of winning the cup rigt now
Cameron Martinez
>lanus >river >san lorenzo >tucuman

Benjamin Young

>velez >belgrano
Nathan Diaz

Gabriel Brown
>tfw no Bahia, Sport, Ceará, Paysandu, Goiás and Criciúma in Liberta
Daniel Nelson

Leo Wood
Is uruguayan football really this kill for a local giant to lose 6-2 to Jorge Valdivia?
Joshua Gomez
Que hago con esto?
Jose Rodriguez
>30 teams
why is this allowed?
Blake Johnson
He still works for the club?
Isaac Phillips
No bully, it's only for this season
We will be having 4 relegations and 2 promotions for 5 years until we go back to 20 teams
John Myers
...
Henry Davis
Do we have a chance of a big team getting relegated over the next years?
Julian Reed
We have a system that was made to prevent that, you don't get relegated based on the position of that season but the results of the last 3 seasons. That prevents big teams getting relegated just by having a bad semester
I doubt it could happen to any of the big 5 because they are doing relatively "good", some mid-tier club like Vélez could get relegated, they were terrible last season
Ryan Gonzalez
Yea, not bullying, was a sincere question. Thanks for answering.
Don't you think the relegated ones won't rebel against the championship rules? (happens all the time here)
All big clubs but Boca got relegated with that system, it helps big clubs but doesn't make miracles
You have to have 3 consecutive bad seasons to get relegated, that tends to happen more often amongst small clubs
Never said I was proud
Nathaniel Brooks
looks like Belgrano will sink
Nathan Carter
Yes you did
Kevin Sanchez
>Brazil >Talking about relegation Do you realize that you basically never had regelation till the late 90s?
Logan Cox
>Is uruguayan football really this kill Yes. Our market is microscopic, which leads to inferior wages, so all semi decent players gtfo early and the ones left behind are Jorge Boliman tier or old has beens. Its sad but as we say here "es lo que hay"
Mason Johnson
Officialy there's relegation since 1988 (exceptions to 1992, 1993, 1999 and 2000)
Asher Myers
Delet this
Nathan Roberts
We have relegation since the 1900.
Matthew James
You're confusing the team you're replying to
Brody Thompson
...
Samuel Allen
But relegation in national championships. In state championships, there's relegation since decades before.
>now millonarios doesn't even qualify to group stage ;_;
Ayden Thompson
We had Apertura/Clausura back then. That shit "affects" team's mentality. Recently promoted teams usually scale positions more easily. If the last 4 promoted were doing well and you were in the bottom side of the table you were basically a relegation candidate until the last two matchdays.
Also have in mind that those promotions happened in the late 00s/early 10s, the most mediocre age of our local league.
Camden Hughes
that's not the last uruguayan team to win the cup, user
Nolan Jones
I bet on corinthians v luverdense thinking it was /copalib/ and now I have to sit here and watch it
Cooper Barnes
Oh shit, you should have asked us, we'd have spared you of this terrible fate.
William Perry

Bentley Baker

Gavin Rivera
THANK YOU BASED PLANE CRASH VAMO VAMO CHAPE
Benjamin Gomez
>jynxed
Caleb Scott

Josiah Stewart
Well, fuck me.
Easton Reed
Are you retarded? Peñarol is fighting relegation, it's not Uruguayan football it's just Peñarol being shit.
Alexander Morgan
DELETE THIS YOU FUCKIN PERFIDIOUS
Parker Kelly
Yes, fuck you.
Jacob Peterson
>osman Is like 29/11 all over again.
What about Nacional losing at home against literallywholia?
Adam Russell
They won against Lanus the previous match.
Palmeiras is your best team and they only managed to win against Wilstermann because of refball, they won in minute 97 for fucks sake.
Gabriel Scott
>Palmeiras is your best team
Lucas Nguyen
>all these sons of zulia getting triggered in my first post i talked about the state of uruguayan futbol in general. all currently teams suck no matter how many eons ago we won something.
>refball Have you watched the game? Palmeiras won it in minute 95, with the referee giving 6 minutes of extra time, which was far from being enough (in only one instance of chimpout by the bolivians, the game was stopped for 6 minutes).
