My broken hungarian would be the third.
Japanese (Haven't used it in a few years now and am forgetting it like crazy)
Probably gonna take Russian since it is the 3rd most spoken language in my region of the US.
Be my guest.
Also, english obviously. Then spanish and german.
> Inb4 being called a welsh scum by the swiss-germans
underrated post
sad for you, funny for me, if only there was a word in a dying language that could express this emotion I am feeling...
With English being second?
Can you speak Latin? Form your own sentences etc?
Nice
Chinese. Seems to be the case for most people below 30 here.

How long does it take to learn if all you know is english and spanish
Chinese
Gotta prepare for the future :^)
English. I also know a bit of German, but not enough to hold a conversation. I'd like to learn Russian.
My school made me take 2 years of Dutch, because the city was founded by a guy from the Netherlands. When am I going to ever need that? The Netherlands is small, and only Dutch and Flemish people speak it. If I ever go to the Netherlands, everyone already knows English already. What a fucking useless language.
have fun lmao
it can help you learn other languages similar to Dutch, but considering that the closest language to Dutch is English it really is fucking useless
Born in germany, but I speak english most of the time, so will choose german as my second language.
Third is french
I can also speak italian and swedish.
Currently, I am learning russian.
(And i had latin in school)
English
German
Hebrew
Native English
Spanish (fluent)
French (not bad but I make a lot of mistakes)
German (quite bad, but I can communicate OK)
That's funny.
You can use your Dutch to learn German
Why is Taylor Swift so perfect?
It's like God saved all of the best Aryan genes just for her.
French Of course
schadenfreude
english
Hindi and Punjabi, also trying to learn French on the side.
Getting lazy.
Just like this guy except native Spanish and fluent English. Also survival-level Chinese.
English is more closely related to German than Dutch
I don't have time to learn languages anymore. They should ban the use of shit languages from being taught in school. Only French,German,Portuguese,Mandarin should be allowed.
No it's closer to Dutch
I speak English, German, Slovak and Czech if you count those. These are the languages that I'm normally in contact with, I've never understood learning languages just for fun but to each his own.
>Mandarin
>not a shit language
woah nigga!
yeah but how many German people speak Dutch as well? learning German is way easier as an English speaker because every German already knows English and it makes it much easier to practice
English. Right after is Russian.
Lots of germans speak dutch and vice versa.
>every German already knows English
So does every Dutchman. What's your point?
Portuguese. English
>So does every Dutchman. What's your point?
Literally meaningless in the context of what I said.
>Kraut that doesn't grasp irony cliche
your people will be missed
English
Nigganese.
I'm a white man living in Detroit.
Gemütlichkeit
Correct. Specifically the dialect of Dutch spoken in the Frisian islands. I went to visit a friend in Terschelling and I could catch some of that dialect. Frisian is closest to English but we have a strong influence from Scandinavia.
In my dialect of English, rural North East England, which you would probably have trouble understanding, we have loads of words from Old Norse.
Itane vero?
> tfw chose Latin over french
Did you not think that Germans and Dutch can use English to help them learn the other's language, if they're stuck?
Tigrinya
...
Native French
fluent in english and an aok german
How and where did you pick up Italian and Swedish?
Also you should have chosen Norwegian IMO. Better mutual intelligibility with Danish and Swedish, than either of those two have with the others.
It's a tie between english and german, then dutch
>Japanese
>Exceptionally difficult
U havin a giggle m8?
English, Malaysian and Japanese.
Sup fellow Indonesian
>Choosing your native language as the second one
Ffs Hans stop trying to outcuck Sweden
I bet the girls there are REAL friendly.
Neither are relevant. They should have taught us Chinese.
日本語! かわいいです~!(*^_^*)
Germans can read Dutch because it's very similar.
תוכיך :^)
English

ouga bouga
Australian

>Chinese
>More relevant than French
My first language is English. The world is so cucked I don't need to learn a second language
I'm currently learning German (via Duolingo). Once I finish that I plan to do the short English module for Germans, and start listening to German talk radio. If I record snippets of audio and translate them, I can get better.
French. Third language is Japanese. And then Latin. And so on.
I only speak English fluently. I understand some Romanian and Spanish, but I am no where near native proficiency.
Spanish, English, Russian.
...
English
Good english, average spanish, bad russian (still learning the basis)
Japanesw was simple as fuck. You just need someone to speak with.
Polish
Considering all African countries, including France, will be speaking primarily Chinese soon, Chinese is more relevant.
Burger english
He said second language, faggot. Seems you need to work on your first one.
Buy me drinky
English is the second. I can read Dutch and kinda read Spanish and Italian.
So German and no Spanish bro? I feel the hate.
I imagine most of the difficulty is learning to write/read it properly. Languages that use our alphabet and have similar sounds for the same letters are drastically easier to learn.
Japanese would probably move to the easy/medium category on that chart if you were to learn romaji instead of kanji
I don't care about the post. I just wanted to say that no one brings out the most primitive sexual urges in me like Tay Tay.
You know, like I like big tits and a nice ass, but with Tay Tay it's different. Less conscious. It's like my very soul is saying to procreate with her.
French is second, Korean third but I'm completely fluent in Korean while my French has almost disappeared.
tbqh senpai it was kinda the same way for me until I realized she was dumb as fuck irl, stupid chicks turn me off
I'd probably still hate fuck her tho
>He doesn't know how to spell "Prove"
